I have been lurking the forums for a while, but never felt the need to post until now.  I read a while ago about someone on this site who's partner is allergic to their guinea pigs and they have to get rid of them.  I don't know if this is going to help but my boyfriend is allergic to my cats and i ordered a bunch of products from this site http://www.allergycontrol.com/

They ship to Canada if you call to place your order.  There's a product that you rub on your pet's coat to reduce dander, a spray that you put on your carpet and allergy reducing laundry detergent.  I also bought allergy pillows from Walmart and i've heard you can also buy allergy friendly bedding. You can also get used air purifiers on Craigslist for around $50, just make sure you can still buy the hepa filters for the model you are buying.
