a kitty is hangin' around
sooo, kinda funny. saturday i was watchin tv pretty much all day on the couch b/c Dean and his friend were putting in a new furnace in the basement and weren't bother me, happened to fall asleep... woke up about 15 minutes later to Dean yelling "HEY GET OUTTA HERE!".. needless to say i jumped off the couch and ran to the kitchen (where he was)
apparently what happened was he came up from the basement to get something, and saw a black cat in our kitchen! i laughed at his reaction and told him that's what he gets for leaving the garage door and door to the house open.
well i came out of the house this morning to go to work and the cat was curled up under my car. i put my stuff in the back seat and stood with it for a couple minutes. it's so cute, all black, tiny, and the whole time it was talking/crying at me, which made me wanna spend more time with it but i had to leave.
this is probably a dumb question. but is there any way to tell if the cat is a stray? it's very small so i'm not sure if it's just thin or a kitten. i've had 2 cats from kittens but couldn't begin to guess how old it could be. i'm thinking of putting food outside for it, but i'm afraid it'll attract other outdoor cats
Next time you see it, feed it some food and pet it. People usually don't let little kittens out of the house so chances are it's a stray. Adopt it!!

i wish i could adopt it, but i think dean and my parents would kill me because when dean and i got our house a few months ago i had to leave my cat with my parents because he hates/is allergic to cats
i know its lame, but theres really nothing i can do about it except feed it outside of the house

You could take it to the vet, have him/her checked up, inoculated, spayed/neuter (if the age is proper), de-wormed, de-flead and stared on a preventative parasite program, you can befriend the kitten with a quality food and make a friend for life. Granted Dean has an allergy, perhaps you have a garage or shed that you can offer at a home and get some damn cute photographs and place an add on craigslist for the cutest "can i haz a homz" kitten on the planet....
If you need help with money, I bet everyone here would pitch for a vet visit... I know I would.

I'm with kannas! I have done that with many a' stray kitty and it's very fulfilling. Good luck to your kitty friend!
Ya, I would probably take him/her to the vet and then keep him/her as an outside pet.
