Cookbook recommedation

I'm not sure I've seen this book mentioned here before, so I thought I tell everyone about it. I checked out The Nut Gourmet by Zel Allen from the library, and it is great and completely vegan!  I'm going to purchase it now.  I haven't tried as many of the recipes as I want to (there are sooo many that look sooooo good), but those that I have tried have been delicious (my husband things the scalloped potatoes are heaven on earth).  The recipe categories range from appetizers, to breakfast, to sauces and condiments, to dessert and everything in between.  There are lots of ideas to incorporate nuts (and their healthy fats) into your diet everyday.  Anyway, I highly recommed you all check it out!

The "Vegetarians in Paradise" people http://www.vegparadise.com/  have a 3 minute tour of the book on their website. Click on the link on the left side of the screen.  It looks very good.  But DH and I have put a moratorium on buying more books until we find out if we're going to move or not.  If not, that's definitely one I want!  "Here's wishing you a lifetime of nutty pleasures."  It don't get no better than that.  ;D

I took the tour (thanks for the heads up, TinTexas) and it mentioned stuffed tomatoes with "cashew pate." There was a picture with that one and the pate looked just like the "cashew cheese" my DH and I had in a restaurant called R. Thomas Deluxe Grill in Atlanta. I had been going to try to replicate it but never got around to it. Hopfrog, if you still have the book checked out from the library would you please post the cashew pate recipe. I'd 'preciate it.  :)
