Cookbook recommendation - if you cook for meat eaters

Every week my family gets together and every third week it's my turn to entertain. As the only vegetarian, I always have to think of a meal that will satisfy my meat eating family.I have found a great cookbook that I would recommend for anyone in this situation. It's called The Vegetarian Meat and Potatoes Cookbook by Robin Robertson. I have had really good success every recipe I have tried in this book. Today I tried a recipe called My Wild Irish Stew. My family loved it. My brother-in-law, who is a devoted meat eater, ate three helpings! Check out this book if you have the same problem.
How funny, I was just looking at that recipe and thinking it sounded great for this weather. Great cookbook recommendation.
Does it have a lot of recipes that are (or easily turned) vegan? It sounds like my family's kind of cookbook too :)
It's mostly vegan, and those recipes that are L-O-veg are easily convertible (with instructions already present!)
Similar in appeal profile ("normal" meat & potatoes food) but different in every other possible way are Ann Jackson's wonderful Southern recipe books. They're politically incorrect as all get-out, but oh, so good. I don't know if they're still in print. They resemble one another closely, borrowing a lot of the same recipes (almost as if one is a revised version), and are filled with typos and linguistic nightmares, but they are SO nice. Your mom may also like one of those!
