The new edition is all vegan and all fantastic!
I made the leek and butternut squash sauce the other night and it was super. I added some fennel greens.
I could be into this.
Is this the cookbook from the store Whole Foods? I know that one exists, but I looked for it at the store yesterday and couldn't find it... ???

No, this book is by Christina Pirello (http://www.amazon.com/Cooking-Whole-Foods-Way-VeganRecipes/dp/1557885176/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1225388530&sr=8-1). She has a cooking show on PBS, also, although it can be hard to catch. Here's a link to her site where you can find a ton of her recipes: http://www.christinacooks.com/.
yup, it is her book. i love it :)>>> i like to cook but a lot of recipes in other books have stuff i don't keep in the house. i guess CP and i are like food-sistas cause i can usually make stuff from her book if i have the base veggie in the house. i don't have some of the more macro-ingredients but i've taken to studying macro and it's kind of interesting. i like that the dishes are macro-influenced but not 100% all macro. just macro enough (but again, i read lots of different things about what makes something macro ::))
i picked it up at a borders books location that was closing shop. got it for 40% off!

I found it at my Borders too in the clearance section. It was only $3.99! The recipes look great, and not complicated. I can't wait to try them out.
I got this totally retro version (remember the nineties) at Borders for 1.99...srsly. It is mostly vegan and I can veganize what's not. I want to check into her Hempseed book, too.
I want this book! Did you guys know Christina Pirello overcame cancer by practicing macrobiotics? Her doctors told her she had like 3 months to live and then she started eating this way and everything turned around. Makes me want to really change the way I eat. Sometimes I feel like I am consuming way too many processed foods. The only thing that I don't like about this book is the lack of pictures. I really like cookbooks with pictures!
Wow, you guys got amazing deals on this book. I'll check out the bookstores...maybe I can find it for like $1?
