This does sound awesome...I wonder what speakers will be there! I hope to attend, finances permitting.

L2A, I was in your hood last Saturday on a cross-country trip!! We went to Asheville Brewing Company on Coxe Avenue. Enjoyed some “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Salad” and a few brews there. Then we went to the Thirsty Monk, but it was super crowded so we left there and spent the rest of the night at TallGary’s Cantina.
We were thinking about checking out the veg fest, but what’s up with it? Is it still on? The site still has no info except the time…

I am glad you enjoyed yourself!!!! well it sounds like you did anyway. The veg fest is scheduled for aug 6 from 11-6 I think. I think it is still a-ago!!! We are in need of volunteers, if anyone is interested. Let me know if you plan to come..maybe we an meet up!

So is it Aug. 6 like you said above or Aug. 7 like it says on the site? The 7th is a Sunday, which would rule out a weekend road trip for me.
oh you are right! it got changed to sunday because of some permit issues. sorry! i hope you can try to make it!!!

are you coming to asheville AIS? the fest was a huge success and i met vegans from all over the place!!!
The family and I will actually be in the area. My in-laws have a place down there, and we were think about hitting Asheville for a movie.
A Vegfest would have been better, though. :)
