How many Vegwebbers are close to Vancouver? Enough to have a potluck? I sure hope so... Alright Lower Mainland people, show yourselves!

OK, for one, I'm pretty excited that Radha does brunch- let's def. wait till the Earthsave dineout for that then. I've never had brunch at the Naam- only dinner so I don't know if it'll be busy but I'm guessing it will. Other ideas- the Foundation, Cafe Deux Soleils, Slickety Jim's.... anyone else?

I'd be up for the Foundation or Saravana (yes, even for brunch!)... I love trying new places so I'd go for Slickety Jim's too. Can't find their menu online though... what kind of options do they have?
Slickety Jim's is on Main at Broadway. I've been once before for lunch about a yeart ago and had a tofu scramble with fruit salad. I honestly don't remember what else they had so we may want to check out their menu further before we commit to there. I think I remember it being fairly- veg friendly, and I remember liking the atmosphere. Where is Nuba? Haven't been to Saravana- is it Indian food? I love the foundation and the Naam and am OK with either of those as well.
Nuba is downtown at two locations. One is on Seymour, just off Davie. The other is on Hastings and just off Hamilton (across from Amsterdam).
Now that you say where Slickety Jim's is, I've totally been there. I just had a drink though. Well, my fiance also brought me home some vegan cheesecake from there. Yum.
I say The Foundation or Slickety Jim's. I have totally over done Indian food!

It will be delightful. Apparently the cheesecake there is gluten free, which is nice cause I'm leaning towards removing gluten from my diet.

OK, I have to work April 6 until 3 pm and don't know my work schedule for the 12 so hopefully it will work out. It should be posted tomorrow so I'll check it out. (keeps fingers crossed). I just started a new job 2 weeks so I can't really book time off yet since weekends are they only days I'm available. I REALLY hope I work in the evening that day!!

I was passing by on the bus today and noticed the place that I thought you were talking about is actually on Kingsway and Broadway, it's called Our Town and it is on the corner. I guess I've never been to Slickety Jim's. I couldn't see it on Main, is it up the street a bit?

It's on Main between 9th and Broadway (but closer to Broadway). Facing North on Main it's on the left side of the street.
