Anyone interested in a vegan event in Las Vegas?
I think it would be great to create major events here in Vegas to bring Vegans here to Sin City to visit and share a vegan lifestyle with this city, which has been ranked the #1 Fattest City in the Nation for the last 2 years.

i'm probably going spring break with my lil sis who's also vegan
I'm there all the time for work and it sucks! I'm always stuck in big French places in hotels on the strip with basically no vegan options. The Wynn doesn't understand the concept of veganism, nor does the Bellagio. Where should I eat?
And hell yeah, I love the idea of a vegan event there. I'd come :)
I was just checking out Las Vegas' vegan options on Happy Cow ( http://www.happycow.net/north_america/usa/nevada/las_vegas/) because apparently there is a donut place that has amazing and inexpensive vegan donuts. And an issue of VegNews had a spread on Vegan Vegas. I don't live anywhere near there and I don't have a particular desire to go, but it looks like it has some good stuff there. Good luck organizing an event and eat some donuts for me!!!
I've been to Vegas a bunch. Twice this past year with DH for vacation. He is always willing to go back! Depending on when this would be I might be able to join up too!
I live here in Vegas (well, just moved to Henderson from Las Vegas). Of course I'd be willing to come. That is if you all don't mind a baby.

It's nice to see there's an interest in creating a Las Vegas event for vegetarians and vegans. Vegas has very few healthy options; there's a few restaurants that are veg-friendly; but Vegas is not a very heathy city. Men's Fitness magazine has ranked Las Vegas the #1 Fattest City in America for the last 2 years.
Keep the replies coming! The more interest, the more better for us organizing a Veg event here in Sin City!
a vegan even in vegas would be amazing! i moved out here 6 months ago and went vegan 5 months ago. so i really don't know what it is like in any other city... but i could imagine!

There are a few vegetarian/vegan/raw food groups here already! Meetup.com I really enjoyed the Raw Meetup at Go Raw Cafe and highly recommend the "Lasagna" ;)b
