And it was just what I was looking for. It was rich and warm and comforting and quick and it was by far the easiest soup I ever made. So easy I wouldn't even consider it a recipe.
1 can Trader Joe's Cuban Style Black Beans
2-2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
heat, blend, serve with crackers or bread.
The beans are already seasoned with spices and onions and red wine vinegar so you don't need to add anything if you don't want.
I loved it just as it was. :)>>>

This made me laugh.
I make chili this same way. It's like, buy a can of this, this, this, this, and this, pour in to crock pot and leave for four hours. Eat. :)
Oooh that's a good idea. I like TJ's Cuban style black beans. I would probably throw a veggie in there for good measure.
That's so funny. I did an easy three-ingredient soup a few days ago and it was so good.
1 cup broccoli
1/2 cup ramen noodles
2 cups vegetable broth
I'll have to try your black bean soup recipe some day. Thank you for that.
yum! i will have to make this! i'll be adding in TJ's fire roasted corn (my favorite) and top with cashew sour cream.
I like to just throw all the vegetables I need to use up in a pot with a handfull of rice, beans, lentils and veg broth and just let it simmer on the stove until done.
black beans, veggie broth and salsa blended=AMAZING!!!!!!

Sounds like my Recycled Fruit Butters. Just throw any and all fruit that's getting a bit past it into a big pot (cored and chopped), add a couple of "glugs" of white wine, some cinnamon and ginger and clove, and sweeten a bit. Cook down to mush, blitz in blender, and chill in a covered jar. I have thrown in a few carrots along with plums, apples and pears and gotten away with it.
