Homemade waffle cones?

I've been watching America's Test Kitchen this afternoon and it's really making me want a big ice cream cone.  I hate those sugar cones or whatever they're called and I have a waffle maker.  Does anyone know how to convert a waffle recipe (such as the raised waffles from Vegan Brunch) into a cone recipe?

I have no idea, but they make fresh vegan waffle cones and waffle bowls at Maggie Mudd in San Francisco. I suggest orally pleasuring someone who works there for tips on how to make it work.

I don't think the Vegan Brunch recipes would work because they're all too soft and fluffy.  Waffles for cones are super thin and I think they need a lot of sugar so they harden once they're cool.  If you have a pizzelle (sp?) iron that would probably work better than a normal waffle iron.

I'd go down on a lawman for a recipe that works.
