la dolce vegan

I just bought this and I made the spicy nutty noodles last night (they were YUMMY) and i was wondering if anyone had any particular favourite recipes from that book. we are on a very tight budget at the mo(which beggars the Q why i was buying a cookbook but i justified it somehow ;) ) so i need cheap recipes which this book seems full of.

I like the Coconut Curried Veggies a lot. It's super easy. I add diced sweet potatoes to it. Really yummy.

Funny you should post this. I got this book for Mother's Day, and I made my first recipe last night. I made the Fudge Pecan Pie for a potluck at work today. It was fabulous!

I would have to say the sleepy Sunday morning tofu scramble, or easy French bread recipes have to be my favourites. The peanut butter cupcakes are really good too. My friends didn't even know they were vegan!

If you have particular questions about the recipes, check out the forum on Sarah Kramer's website at govegan.net A lot of people got there and she will answer questions about economical substitutions as well.
