I want to try the Thanksgiving Dressing recipe on this site and it calls for 1 pound of bread. Is one pound equal to two cups? and if you add nuts to stuffing, do you grind them or add them as whole? I have never made stuffing before and I dont wanna mess up!
No - the 2 cups is measuring liquid ounces (which arent the same thing) Look at the bread bag and see how many ounces it is. It should make more than 2 cups.
You can chop the nuts or add them whole - its up to you!
When I make stuffing with nuts I chop them. That way each bite you eat has a little bit of nuts and you don't wind up with a forkful of only pecan.
