perishable left in car

i left a container of toffutti sour cream in my car for 1 night and a whole day. when i opened it up it didnt smell bad, it looked ok except one itsy bitsy spot, not sure what it was, but i just took it out. its now in the fridge, but do you think its ok to eat?
probably not... but i've never bought toffutti sour cream
id use it.. i have taken the tofutti sour cream and cream cheese with me on the plane ride from LA to the caribbean (about ~24 hrs. total) and never had a problem.. there isnt much that can go wrong with them.. the sour cream could possible taste slightly more sour (but i dont find that to be a bad thing).. but i doubt that would happen.. and if it smells fine then its totally chill
