Recipe Re-Organization - call for action!

Hi,
Fed up with how hard it is to find a recipe? Tired of scrolling past categories to get to recipes? We are currently working to sub-categorize all of the recipes similar to how they were before. Howe'ver, it will probably take a long time - that is, unless you would like to help.
Just click on a category, select a recipe below the list of sub-categories, click on the "move topic" button at the bottom of the recipe (you must be logged in to see it), select a sub-category and click the "Move Topic" button.
Beverages is now done - thank you to the people who helped to organize it!
You can reply here if you would like to help and to let others know when certain areas are done.

I've managed to move a few files... but now I get an error message with each attempt ???..
I wonder if its taking too long to transfer and my computer does an auto-refresh and crashes the transfer??? Oh well... I will try to transfer more files at home where there is less network stuff to interfer...

hey I just wanted to say thanks again for working so hard on this site, listening to all our b*tching and fixing stuff all for free (well free from us anyhow). ;D
I'm having trouble with this too...it won't let me move any recipes...
I'M kinda relieved to see its not just me that it keeps telling I already moved the recipe. I can't get it to let me move any at all today. Was really slow for me yesterday too and had the same problem a few times, but not everytime.

Could you please give me the URL to a recipe that you are trying to move and to what sub-category, and I'll check permissions.

I've been trying to sort the bean category, and it's going pretty well. Howe'ver, I think we need a few more sub-categories. One should be "mixed beans" as many recipes call for two or more types of beans. An "other" or "miscellaneous" category would be good too, because several recipes have more obscure types of beans.
Just some suggestions.

I've been working in rice a bit...could use some more categories in there, too. Maybe risotto, rice pudding (or sweet flavored rice dishes) and paella.

"Breakfast" is done!
For the cereals, I stuck the cold ones under "cereal" and the hot ones under "porridge"...I hope that was the way you wanted those split up.
All the breakfast burritos are currently filed under miscellaneous, but there's enough burritos that I think they could use a breakfast burrito category.
Also, I think the "eggs" category could do with a name-change to something like "Tofu and 'eggs'". I don't know....filing tofu scrambles under simply "eggs" makes it seem like tofu scrambles are trying to be like egg scrambles, which may be true in some cases, but not all. My favourite tofu scramble recipe is nothing like eggs. :)

Oatmeal & Porridge -> Hot Cereal
Cereal - > Cold Cereal

Thanks for making those changes, admin. I'm off to bed now but I will weed the burrito recipes out of miscellaneous within a few days.
Okay, got the breakfast burritos out of miscellaneous, and I started to work a bit on regional recipes tonight. I won't be able to do all of it myself though since I'm not familiar with some of the dishes and aren't sure where they would go. But I've been sorting out the recipes I recognise, at least.
Do you think you could add a new category for Slavic regional recipes?
I've been chipping in on Dips and Dressings. There are two categories for Hummus though, one under dips and one under spreads...I would remove the one under spreads.
