vegan ice cream - help!!!
i just concocted the recipe from http://veganicecream.blogspot.com/ for the lazy vanilla ice cream..... now it's cooling, and it's not really thicker than soy milk!
i followed the recipe exactly (no substitutions) and the only thing i can think of is that i hand-powdered the arrowroot starch by hand because it was packaged in smallish chunks. but it was very powdery when i mixed it with the soy milk....
any advice? i was planning to bring this to a potluck tomorrow night, so all help would be much appreciated :-*
