What fruit did you eat today? a question to drool...

I know hesp is going to blow this up, but I need to be accountable for my fruit intake. I'm falling back into not eating much, and I want to change it.

Today: avocado (has to count!), banana, and planning on a tangelo

I had the fleshiest mango ever today!  There was almost no pit - all delicious mango!

i love this thread, already.

so far today i have had oranges, bananas, and apples. i'd really love some dates but i'm waiting for them in the mail (i get cheap good quality ones from a guy down south).. and i'm going to have tomatoes, cucumber, and maybe some red pepper... unsure about the pepper. oh and i think grapefruit, since i have two and need to eat them (my orange lady gave them to me for some reason).

Oh, I guess I'm not counting fruits like red pepper and such (yes, I know they are fruits). I eat enough of those, so I'll just stick with the other fruits.

I had an apple at breakfast and some grapes for a snack.  I'll probably have a banana later.  Fruit is my favorite type of food.  :)

I just stand it up, and slice down, slicing away all the outer peel. Then, I cut down all the sides, leaving the inner pit/core. So, I basically just slice off the edible fruit from the pit. Then, I slice that up.
I watched a video when I first starting cutting mango, and there are all these ways...but that ^ way works for me.

haha, yup, I looooove mango but hate chopping them.  But I figure the awesomeness of having fresh mango to eat outweighs the hassle of slicing it : )

If you cut it in half, (skin on,) then cut down, (vertically) like 5 rows, then cut across them,(horizonatlly) in 5 more rows, (it will look like little cubes...to eat hold it, press on the skin to get the cubes to "pop" outwards, making them super easy to bite right off...(sounds complicated but its not at all:)

today I've had an apple, and a banana...pretty boring! my 2 year old had an apple, banana, and avocado

I had a fruit smoothie for breakfast like I always do. It had a banana, blueberries, strawberries, an orange, and pineapple in it this morning.

I had another banana and dates in a shake I had as a snack.

An apple and a Clementine for dessert tonight.

I haven't really had a mango in a while.  Everytime I get some my daugter eats them all before I get more than a bite or too.  I love that she loves them, even if she does need a bath after eating them.

I really need to go to the store, so I've only eaten a banana and clementines as far as fresh fruit goes. I've been a frutaholic since childhood and have never had trouble eating enough.  Recently I've been trying to eat more vegetables in place of fruit, mostly to reduce my caloric intake.
