What's for dinner?

I don't remember all that I eat every day, but dinner is the main cooking meal for me.

Last night we had green chile bean burritos with potatoes, peas, and cilantro and baked jalapeno poppers.

Tonight I plan on having Asian slaw, rice with green onions and sliced almonds, and cinnamon sugar bread.

PG, I'm having pizza tonight. GO WITH PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't read this in time so I had the tagine.  But I'm having pizza tonight.  ;)b

Pizza was so awesome. Homemade everything! whole wheat crust, roasted tomato & herb sauce, pesto, chopped red peppers and onion. Oh... and daiya :)

Everything was local except the onions and the flour for the crust!

sounds awesome.

I made a similar homemade lasagne on Saturday - fresh homemade pasta, tomato sauce, tofu feta, roasted garlic sauce, 'mince' from homemade seitan and some homegrown spinach thrown in for good measure.... was good shit!

today, what's for dinner is roasted butternut soup, made with butternut grown in my Nana's garden.

Tonight is...leftover stuffed squash and probably a chickpea salad (as in a bed of greens and things with chickpeas on top - not a "mock" chicken or egg salad)

This: http://www.vegetariantimes.com/recipes/10187?section= only with brown basmati rice instead of fettuccine.  Good stuff.

Leftover mac and cheese, cool slaw, and sunny corn muffins (minus the lemon). ...maybe some roasted summer squash. Nothin' special.

Once I get up, it will be whole wheat pasta with a raw tomato sauce (with balsamic vinaigrette tossed in), with lots of garlic and basil.

I tried the "Jakes Scrambled "eggs"" tofu recipe from here and threw some green onion and bok choy into the mix.  I had two slices of my homemade spelt bread warmed and added a little earth balance spread on it.  Unsweetened vanilla almond milk to round it off.  Nothing fancy but it sure hit the spot.

tonight i think we're going out for japanese or thai food.

Last night was Cauliflower-pesto Soup from App. for Reduction---loved it. and a salad of red leaf lettuce, grated carrot and sunflower seeds with balsamic vin.--delish. and i invented a bruschetta involving way too  much garlic and tomatoes roasted into mush so it was sort of a flop.

I used Gimme Lean sausage (which I haven't used in years cuz it gives me horrible gas, but I seem to be ok today), green pepper, red onion and daiya mozzarella.  Then I sprinkled basil and oregano on top of the cheese - it was awesome!  Dipped in ranch of course.  It was just like the pizza I was craving.  The glass baking dish worked perfectly - the crust was perfect.
