Hey y'all! I'm driving down to Huntsville, TX on Monday and I'm completely unfamiliar with the area. Does anyone here know of any vegan-friendly restaurants in Huntsville?

I know they exist around Fort Worth, so I'm hoping there are some good options down there too.

Oh goodness. You're heading right into the heart of hick-central (and I mean that in a completely non-insulting way; I'm a native Texas myself!). I drove through Huntsville last Christmas and had trouble finding vegan options at the gas stations, much less any veg-friendly restaurants. Best of luck to ya... I suggest packing some snacks and/or meals with you!

A Google search has turned up very little, but I did find one place that looks slightly promising. I think it was called The Potato Shack and serves baked potatoes with every imaginable topping. Everything on the menu included butter, and/or cheese, and/or sour cream, but I also saw broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, and salsa among the list, so surely they would be willing to give me a potato with just the veggies and hold the dairy stuff right?
And yes, I'll definitely be taking plenty of snacks along as well!
