I'm moving to a small town in Oklahoma

I'm moving from San Antonio, tx, to a small town near Fort Smith and about an hour and a half away from Muskogee. Can Anyone in or around this area please give me some stores or restaurants that have vegan options? Or am I going to have to order everything online? ><

Any information is appreciated.

Ozark Natural Foods in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is about an hour from Fort Smith.  It looks like an awesome place full of organic goodness.  That's about all I know - I'm Californian.

At least an hour long drive won't be too bad.  Gas prices there are at least a dollar less a gallon than in SoCal.

I don't think anyone who posts that I know of is from that area.  There are some Georgia people and Texas people, but no Oklahoma/Arkansas people.  There are a lot of websites with natural food store and co-ops listed.  You might be able to find something

Stores
Food Co-ops, Health Food stores, Natural Food Stores
Oklahoma Food Cooperative
Organic Food Stores

Restuarants
Happy Cow

I live in Oklahoma City, but that's probably just as far as Fayetville from you if not further.  Go to vegok.org and  use the contact link to contact Alyissa.  She can post a message to the group list and maybe someone will have some feedback for you.  Good luck.  What town is it that you are moving to?

Lol to Laurabs.
Those links actually helped, the only store I knew about was that Akins store in Tulsa, and there's a store called "The Oasis Health Food Store" in Tahlequah which is closer than Tulsa. But Tulsa also has a Wild Oats which is owned by Whole Foods. I just hope these stores hold vegan things and not just organics .. but I think the two go hand in hand?
I'm moving to Briartown.. it's a really, really small town.

Thanks for the help you two :)

Akins is a big health food store that has tons of everything.  Lots of vegan stuff.  I wish I could afford to buy all my groceries there.
