Local Burger (restaurant)

Someone mentioned this to me, she saw it on tv somewhere and I checked it out.

For those who don't feel like clicking on the link (I'm constantly guilty of this!) it's about a "fast food" joint that serves only local, organic foods- meats included.
My friend who told me about it said "grass-fed beef" and I thought that term was so...misleading? Like...how about "beef cut out of grass-fed cows" or something. ;)
But check out the menu- I wouldn't be able to decide what to get!
I ate there the last time I was home visiting my family in Kansas and OMG! I had the veggie burger, which was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside and moist in the inside, had millet and veggies, and was on a wheat bun. On the side i had the master cleanse rice, which was amazing. I still think about that food...wondering how I could make it for myself? That rice was just perfect, no idea how to make it so nice though--a little spicy, lots of garlic.
If you're ever near the Local Burger, stop in, it's so ridiculously yummy!
I've never been there, or heard of it. But, just from this article and what you said, it sounds like something I'd support. Local, organic, which probably also means small farm... I'd definitely go. :)

I made that ceasar salad for thanksgiving and it ruled hard. The croutons are amazing!

There's a Burger place in Melbourne called Lord Of The Fries and everything in the store is 100% vegetarian, a lot of it vegan.
It is so yummy, too.

The typos aren't that bad. THere's one here or there, but it has not affected anything I've made out of the book (and I've made well over 50 recipes out of it so far!). IF you're really concerned, I'm sure a new edition of it will come out with revisions and whatnot
I know this is an old forum but I went to Local Burger just this afternoon and got some of their special Veggie Burger Patties to cook at home. Amazing. Just amazing. If anyone is ever nearby you must stop in!
