i'm finall going to San Fransisco!
i'm so so so excited.
my mom is taking my brother and I.
i heard that they have great vegan restaurants there.
if anyone is familiar with the area, please recommend some places for me?

That is awesome!! I hope to travel there sometime. My mother stayed at the Mondavi Winery while she and my stepdad were out there. She said there were a fair amount of food options (I would assume as they are more health conscious overall) She suggested to also check out the farmers markets and apparenty (a resturaunt from my city, Chicago) called Udupi Palace is out there, and they have much indian vegan options. Check it out if you're walking around!!

Hi chickpea27. I can't recommend any places but have an amazing time! I was in San Francisco for 3 days, 13 years ago. It was the trip that made me decide to cut out red meat from my diet when I got home. I later cut out chicken and fish. I was on a 16 night Contiki bus trip in Arizona, Nevada and California. We ended the trip in San Francisco. I loved it! Would love to go back for a week or two.
I have no idea where it is now but I really enjoyed going to the Greenpeace store.
Have a blast and report back when you get home.
