Vegan Friendly Disney World?

Im going to disney next week. Me (OL-veg) and Fiance (vegan) are trying to find places within the parks (no car) that we can eat pretty well.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions for us?

if you go to rubyred's blog you can find several posts about the disney stuff. i think she even went to both of them. most of them are in march 2008, but there are some others too, if you do some searching. she spent like a week there, and ate vegan every day.

if you do some googling, somewhere on the internet is this chart thing with all the restaurants that are vegan and vegetarian friendly and what menu items are ok to eat. i found it when i was going to disneyworld with my high school band, and it was really helpful.

hm. i wasnt able to find the chart thing i had before, but im sure if you do some searching you'll find it (: the internet is a wonderful place.
Disney wants their guests to be happy. Call them ahead of time and tell then what you need, dietary wise, and ask them where/what you could eat.
my vegan friend just went and said theres a restaurant right in the park with LOTS of vegan options (she is very militant too). ill see if she can tell me the name and i will post it

if you are out and about in orlando there's a great chinese restaurant that is all veg....except for the egg drop soup (has real egg). its called garden cafe and its about 15 minutes from the parks. well worth it. :)>>>

I'll be going to Orlando, FL with my omni parents, omni little brother, his omni girlfriend, and my pseudo-vegetarian boyfriend.
Pseudo-veg. boyfriend just doesn't eat actual chunks of meat. All else is game.
But I am unfortunately foreseeing a lack of food in my future!
Tracking down the famous veg-friendly chef of Disneyworld isn't really my thing. We'll be staying at the Hard Rock, and have access to Universal, MGM, Islands of Adventure, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. I think that's it?
I've heard good things about Brown Derby (in MGM), but I'm afraid my boyfriend wouldn't like it. Does anybody have any favorites? I'm really just looking to live off of something other than cliff bars the entire time (5 nights, four days)
If you are willing to venture to downtown Orlando there is a vegan resturant called Ethos. They have a small menu but what I have tried from there was good. There is a bakery called Raphsodic Cooperative Company Bakery that offers all vegan baked goods and some gluten free and raw desserts. I believe there are a few places to eat in Epcot. Mexico is probably your best bet. Also in the large cafeteria in Epcot there is a chinease place that I have goten vegan food from. I did a google search a while ago and came up with a few options but can't remember them at the moment. I will be going with my parents in a couple of weeks and made sure to have the resturants we will be eating at now my "diet restrictions." Hopefully that was a little helpful and someone else will chime in.
