Misinformed vegetarian rants against vegans.

I could barely get through this fine piece of work, but my favorite part is this:

"Also know that the lack of milking can cause pain in a cow.  For all the guys out there who are having trouble understanding this concept, try holding your pee for a day and see what happens."  Haaaaaaaaa.

Also, "By promoting, consuming, and supporting dairy products, no one had to die."
Yyyyyyeahhhhhhh..........

What a whiny jackass.  "DO YOUR RESEARCH!"  Yeah, you first.

Also, he needs to groom his eyebrows.

My favorite part:

Because of vegans lack of willingness to buy organic dairy products, more animals are sent to their slaughter earlier on than if they would have chosen to consume dairy products.

I had to stop at the beginning of chickens.  Not because it wasn't a fascinating misinterpretation, but because all of the shots were the same.  I think a chicken madly poked off the left side of his face and he's afraid to show it to us.

1) Cows - if there were fewer consumers of dairy products less cows WOULD BE BORN/raised for murder (not that the current cows would be killed); which leads to less methane in the world; that eventually means less ozone layer depletion. Think we may have found a cure for global warming??

2) I do agree when it comes to the philosophy of all those who live ANY form of a veg*n lifestyle; that there really shouldn't be a 'holier than thou' mindset on EITHER end (it seems to me the person above is a perfect example).

ETA: I was writing this at the same time as HH; I (obviously) was referring to the gentleman above her.

3) As for everyone being educated on where and who their consumables come from....I think everyone can agree this is a good thing, but one can only really do so much. The example of the Southern Baptists attempting to boycott EVERYTHING Disney....that was until Disney had its fingers in everything attached to consumers....comes to mind.

Oh man, this reminds me of an awkward conversation I recently had with an ovo-lacto friend of a friend.

Guy: "I don't eat vegan specialty foods. I don't really approve of what you guys do."
Me: "Wait, what? What do you mean?"
Guy: "I just don't think what you're doing is healthy."
Me: "Well! Really! Can you explain to me how dairy can be healthy when it is quite literally something we're not supposed to be eating? Since it's another species' milk and all?"
Guy: (long pause) "You know I was just kidding, right? I hope I didn't offend you."

Uh-huh.
We certainly do have some "special" people among the vegetarian community.

Vegans within the youtube community were immediately outraged by his post.
Not only because he was spreading misconceptions and lies.. but because we thought we were all on the same side, and not that he felt we were doing 'worse' for animals.

He denied every video response calling him out on how wrong he was, but they can still be found on youtube.

He actually got all the youtube omnivores mad, so they began eating McDonalds and such every time he posted a video.

I think he's just a vegetarian who doesn't want to change, so he believes what he's told without questioning. meh.

Or, he could just be a troll who likes to stir. No one has any proof that this person actually is a vegetarian, do they? You can find all kinds of wierdos on YouTube, some of whom enjoy posting fake videos of one type or another as a form of trolling.

He posts a lot of pro-vegetarian videos, though anything is possible. :p

I just watched this again.  I didn't fully appreciate how totally vapid his logic was until now:

- Vegetarians are not responsible for the slaughter of baby bulls because they don't eat them (they just....encourage them to be born.  And SEND them to slaughter.  But since they don't eat them, nope, not responsible!)
- If we stop drinking dairy, the demand will go down, and what are we going to do with all the leftover cows?  They will be slaughtered EARLY!

"Now THIS right here is a HEN."  Ha!  Condescending asshole.

Also, he refers to omni's as "murder-eaters."  But we vegans are just so harsh and judgmental and cruel to other people.

He keeps moving his head because he's reading a script.  It makes him look creepy!  I  had a good laugh (again) too.

I have nothing against vegetarians-to each their own- but this guy is such a jackass. To compare breastmilk drying up to having to hold your pee is ridiculous. I very seriously doubt he's ever been hooked up to a breast pump. Grrrr.

wow :-D I haven't laughed that hard in a long, long time. Its kinda scary though that someone can be so 'sure' about something so incredibly incorrect??!?

"eaTing non-ferTile eggs" he's irritating and his explanations make no sense. his hair is greasy and eye brows are bushy, he should use some cruelty free shampoo, but wait! is there any use for rabbits besides animal testing? nope, he'd probably be against that too! :D

saying that a cow's utter hurts from not giving milk is ridiculous. If that cow were to be allowed to feed its calves, then it surely would not have swollen bulging utters because its milk would be going where it was intended to go.

Exactly.

Having been a breastfeeding  mother myself, I do understand the very uncomfortable feeling overly full breast give, but if the demand for cheese went down, cows wouldn't have to be put through this.  I coudn't watch the video as it is blocked, but from what it sounds like the person is very shallow and thinks very much in the short term.

Hypothedically, if EVERYONE went vegan all at the same time, yeah, cows may get sore udders for a few days or so, but then the milk would dry up and wouldn't be sore anymore, as the cow would stop producing milk.  What happened when my son stopped nursing, my milk dried up, cows are no different.

And pumps just suck!  I hated hated hated using a breast pump!

I am not a vegan, am a vegetarian (for the most part...) but I think you vegan rock, are totally cool, and if I had the time and money, I would definately want to be vegan again as I think  it is the best thing!  I applaud you all who go vegan, as you rock!
