I have been vegetarian for approximately 15 years, and now have decided to go vegan. I live on the treasure coast of florida where I find it difficult to get involved with like minded people because I simply don't meet any.

I like to cook my own food because most restaurants around here don't have good vegan choices beside a salad.

Since transitioning to vegan, I have been thinking more about connecting with organizations or people who are vegetarian or vegan-I guess to stay focused and to build more of an awareness of the lifestyle.

This site has a lot of great tips and recipes that I will be experimenting with very soon.
