Wanting to Learn More About Meatless Eating

Hi I am Debbie.  A lot of people are eating meatless or at the very least only chicken/fish.  I am interested in learning more about it.  I am trying to lose weight and become more healthy.  I want to know how to cook meatless without missing meat or eating a lot of processed foods.

The 4 meat substitutes that we vegans use are-

1. tofu

2. tempeh

3. tvp

4. seitan

I would say seitan is the closest thing to meat.

I would also say take a piece of paper and a pen or pencil and write down 10 of your favorite meat meals

and then look for recipes of the veganized version of it.

Then just take your time collecting vegan recipes.
