Reasons to be excited!!!!!

ok, not like we really need another 'reasons to...' thread, but a couple of times recently I had a reason to be excited, not necessarily reason to smile and so maybe other people do too!
My RTBE: I just bought my very first car!!!!! I get to pick it up next week, so have a little while before I get to drive it but yay!!
That is exciting Shell!!
And we could alway use more RT.... threads. :)

I'm excited because today is my last day at work for the year, and I cannot wait to get out of here, also because it should hopefully be an early finish.
I'm excited to get up early and bake all the cookies I'm giving to my in laws for Christmas.
I'm excited about Christmas in general, spending the day with my awesome families and soaking up some sunshine.

I got a new (my first) pair of hiking shoes!!! I ordered them through my friends boyfriend who is a rep, so i paid significanly less monies. and i don't even care that it is snowing right now and that they aren't water proof, i am going hiking this sunday with my friend that gifted me monies to buy them b/c she wanted a hiking partner so bad. :) woop! i told her i was slow and fat and to take it easy on me, i will try to take pics for ya'lls
New car, days off, visiting friends and free hiking boots = awesome things to be excited!!
My RTBE: Both Evan and I can feel the baby now. It. Is. Freaky.
OMG!!!! feeling the baby is the best part until they really try to do internal bodily damage.... like break ribs hehehe or like my daughter did, stick one leg straight out while i was driving, you could see her foot. enjoy it, it wont last long, then they will be screaming and moving, and pooping :)
Jess...hiking boots are an amazing reason to be excited!! I love hiking and was so excited when I got my pair of boots last year.

I haven't really been on vegweb since Christmas and have heaps of catching up to do, buuuuut I'm excited because a good friend of mine is getting married today and it's been raining fairly consistently for a few days now but today it's brilliant and sunny and blue skies and I can just tell it's going to be a perfect day for them.
As an extra reason to be excited, this friend of mine and a lot of our mutual friends who are coming to the wedding live in the states or the UK, so I haven't seen them for yeaaars, and I'm soo looking forward to catching up with everyone! Yah, friends!! : )

my godson is joining baseball this spring, he is 7 and home-schooled and raised in a large lego-family. we are going to order extra jerseys make signs and paint our faces for his games!! i have been wanting to go support a little league team now i have a great excuse :D
(and yay for mini vw gift exchanges :) tis the season! )
What in the world is a Lego family to be raised in? What, they were made of plastic? clones? What, now? :D
hahaha its my group of friends for the past decade, all of us don't really have family or support b/c of one reason or another (death, transplants to here..) so we all take care of eachother. my two friends live together with their total of five kids, and as far as the kids know, they are sisters. I like being called auntie by the kiddies and spoiling them :) I took a couple of them with my daughter and i to the beach last may for 4 days, it was my godsons first time to a beach ever such fun!!
To sum up my ramble, it is my group of friends that no matter how much they piss me off or screw up (and boy they have) we all stick by/help/support eachother.
I am making fresh pasta for the first time in my life!! Can't wait to cook / eat it!
