Reasons to frown

Ok, so we have a smiling thread. This thread is for all of the little dumb things that make you frown, or angry, or sad, etc., etc.
I'll start. I had chili for lunch today. I brought some crackers for the chili and a banana for breakfast. THE CRACKERS ABSORBED THE BANANA FLAVOR THROUGH THE BAG, SO I HAD BANANA FLAVORED CHILI FOR LUNCH! >:(

so i was doing my much dreaded speech tonight and mid speech my teacher interrupts me and says "can u try to not read off your paper"... i said "no this is the only way i can get myself through this so sorry"... i was completely shooken up after that comment but thankfully pulled though it without completely losing it... i hate my fucking teacher he is such an ass!

I feel your pain. I had a teacher do that exact same thing to me a few years ago. I hate hate hate hate hate public speaking.
The college that I will be going to after I finish my current degree has the option to either do a 25 page thesis with a 2 hour panel presentation, or a 50 page thesis with an extra semester of internship. I will let you guess which one I am doing. :-[

Half the time my mom will start a conversation with me about something going on in the family and I'll say, "what are you talking about?!?!!?"
She then says "I didn't tell you? Oh. are you sure?"
Or they do it on purpose and I find out through: facebook, myspace, or on the phone by another family member who thought I knew.

I literally cut off all my hair last year. It looked terrible.
Now it's grown out to how it is and I loveeeeeee it more than I ever have.
I'm contemplating just letting it grow out, but I love it the way it is too much.

do it!!! i chopped my hair short like 2 years ago and HATED it! especially since you have dark hair it should really blend in and look great (nobody knows I have one)... get the sewn in NOT glued in ones I went from 3 rows down to 1... my natural hair is almost long enough that i might take them out though I love them and do not know if I want too :)

hmmmm that's a hard one... the paper? ya seriously i would rather write tons of reports than do a speech any day quite honestly i would rather jump off a cliff

My speech teacher did that too, and she was generally a nice lady. She didn't interrupt every one though, just those she felt warranted it. I HATED it when she did that; I felt so bad for the speaker. I know that in speech class we're really "practicing" and not "performing," but it felt like it makes speech-giving so much more hair-raising and painful when the teacher interrupts you to criticize or, worse, make you start over.
word... this is like the #1 phobia for most people... i dread it the entire week , even semester, that i have to do it... if u can visibly see someone is shaken up about speaking leave them the fuck alone!!! when i finish my part and see the rest of my group speaking i see my teacher in the back shaking his head like everything is wrong... that's why i don't even want to look at him! my teacher has his students teach the class while he sits in the back and criticizes everyone... wtf!!!
