Reasons to LOL

Natural products which advertise their freedom from bad things as a feature, but they're so obvious it's ridiculous. For instance, "caffiene free" peppermint tea, or "cholesterol free" dried apricots. O RLY?! ;D

I met a friend at the mall, and walked into a store I don't usually go to, (in fact i don't usually go to the mall, so maybe I was out of practice,) I grabbed a tee-shirt and pair of cargo pants off a sale rack for my BF Taj, who is in DESPERATE need of new clothes. When I gave them to him at him at home to try on he was like, "they are kinda tight in the crotch", and" whats with these ties at the bottoms", which was when I glanced up at my man in slim-fitting-tie at the bottom-GIRLS-cargo pants...LOLOLOLOLOL! Oh to make it better he was like, "no I think they are some kind of karate pants", (what does that even mean?,) and he wanted to WEAR THEM ..(to do karate???)!

A cat that I "watched" for a neighbor once got hiccups all the time..I explained it to her when she returned and she laughed because I thought there was something wrong with the cat. ::)

I picked up a French manicure kit at the market, really cheap. The kit cost me all of about 3 Euros and you pay 15 or 20 to have it done in a beauty shop. I was wondering what they call a French manicure in France, and turns out they use the English words. C'est un french manicure! I bet it is about as french as I am.

what do they include in a french manicure kit? I have tons of nail polish, but I always thought for a french manicure you just tip your nails in white.. maybe there is a fancy cuticle process or something. shrug.

LLG & Yabbit, I have been trying to get a picture of him in them, he wore them to cut the grass and I was peeing in my pants the whole time, i never knew that was his style.
I love french manicures, i think they are really cute on toe nails too!

I like it, it gives a nice hard shiny finish, where nailpolish on its own tends to chip easily. I've never had much luck painting my own nails (never really learned) but this was easier, in part because it gave the drying times for each coat. (Cheap nail polish really stinks out loud, by the way.) The kit has little strips to keep the tips even when you paint them...I didn't use them the first time but now I see why.
Minke, yes he literally does karate kicks in them (he doen't actually know karate,)he was just trying to prove to me thats what they are for.
FB, they definitely do not look like those ninja pants at all, think like a teenage girl in J Crew......poor guy....

Sooo, I thought I had all my students hoodwinked into thinking that the extra large man's ski pyjamas I've lived in for the last 2 winters was actually what's known in Spain as a "chandal". (Sweat suit? of sorts). Well I was complaining about how my "chandals" have got so tatty I'll have to find new ones...and my graduate student gave me a pitying smile and said, "You know, everyone at Seville U. knows you teach in your pyjamas." :-D :-D
