SEE YOU CAN STILL DISCUSS/BEG EVEN WITHOUT THE RESULTS!!!

ETA: don't EVEN be fooled by the charlatans selling cinnamon. Cinnamon? Really?! Try putting it in black beans, nuff said!

ETA: subliminal portion

ETA: The dirty little secret is that cinnamon is likely not even vegan. One word: 'cinnamon monkeys.' Ok that was two words, but I lost my ability to count by eating too much...yeah, you guessed it, cinnamon!

ETA: whenever someone says, "This would be good if there wasn't so much..." invariably the last word is "cinnamon."

ETA: Cinnamon? Sure, it is fun to say; but what isn't fun to say? Hell, "incarceration" is fun to say, very fun. Get the point? That's right, when others say, "cinnamon" you think, "imprisonment," "confinement," "detention," etc. Cayenne=emancipation.

pssssh. The answer is clear: everyone loves cinnamon.

"Cinnamon. It should be on tables in restaurants along with salt and pepper. Anytime someone says, 'Ooh, this is so good - what's in this?' the answer invariably comes back, 'cinnamon.' Cinnamon. Again and again."

Charlie, while I also voted for cayenne, there is a black bean-quinoa burger at a local burger spot that uses cinnamon. It's incredibly delicious. j/s

Do you all want cayenne in everything?! Black pepper is awesome on everything..even some sweet things. You would rather have cayenne..or cinnamon...or ________ for the rest of your life, and no black pepper?

I use cayenne or hot chili powder about 10 times more than black pepper. So I'd choose cayenne over black pepper.

eta: I use fresh hot chiles in almost everything I make, reducing/eliminating the need for black pepper. I will add some cayenne or hot chili powder if the fresh peppers aren't hot enough for me.

ETAA: You can use cayenne in sweets (mexican chocolate, anyone?), breakfasts (on hashbrowns, scrambles, etc). Your black pepper is my cayenne.

You guys are going to have to show me all these cool places! I sooo want a black bean-quinoa burger!!

Ahem!

Your black pepper is my cayenne.

^ YEP!

Really, is black pepper even a pepper? More like miniature introverted acorns, all blackened and hardened right? I used to use it a lot because that is the second spice on the Food TV shows "of course, add plenty of salt and pepper...." but really now I lead with cayenne; it usually blends better visually, so you don't have those big black dots in stuff, and it has good flavor, and it adds some heat.

Plus there are peeps on youtube who claim cayenne cures all sorts of ailments ;) Of course they claim cinnamon cures lots of stuff too. I use cinnamon a few times per week, big fan, BUT I use tons of cayenne in every meal.

All of this was mostly to put a burr under FB's saddle for being on such a queen bee power trip.....not showing results...
