Diva Club

Over on yogaferret's "for us ladies" thread many of us started talking about Diva cups (divacup.com) and other reusable menstrual products (keepers, etc). Turns out a few of us already use them and many more (10 at last count!) are in the process of making the switch-- and telling big tampon to go stuff themselves!

I started a poll to try to get a better count of those in the "Diva Club."  Using alternative products can be lonely at times because we are trained to view our periods as dirty little secrets--it is hard to know what someone uses unless you ask or they bring it up!

I thought it would be good to open a new thread more focused on reusable products. If you have questions, concerns, exciting things to share related to all things menstrual, this is your thread.  ;)

Wellllll, gloominess is not exactly a medical term so they can get away with the claim.  Also, I could see some women feeling better emotionally just because they were told it would help.

Are there a billion posts missing from this? =/ I feel like this was the right thread but maybe not because there isn't a forum search function so I can't find any others as of now. I just wanted to post a picture of my shecup but I don't know how. Testing to see if this works. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lyizlx6Ypp1qat3njo1_500.jpg

It's pink and the nub on the end is short and rounded so it doesn't poke at yer bits because there isn't a need to cut it and leave uncomfortably stabby edges. I actually think I may have posted a picture already, I just feel like I haven't been on vegweb for about 5 years.

I use something like the diva cup...Its basically the same only it is a different brand. I also use cotton washable pads (for the first day that my period is supposed to start. Since it dosnt always or isnt always heavy enough for me to feel the need to use my cup)
