Protein Powder

I have recently returned to the vegetarian side.  I am also weight training and running now, and looking for a veg friendly protein powder.  I tried Jarrows rice protein, and almost vomited when I drank it.  Can any one recommend one that dissolves well and has a decent taste to it?  I would like to stay away from soy powders.  Thanks in advance.

hemp is the best for you... haven't tried it yet but give it a go! how are you making your protein drink? it would probably be good incorporated into a smoothie

I also use protein powders and avoid soy.  You can buy a blend of protein powders for $20 or rice protein powder and pea protein powder for $20 each.  Buying them separately is better.  You get waaay more powder for your money.  I blend rice and pea protein powders with hemp protein powder and a spoonful of chia seeds in almond milk.  Chia helps thicken it a bit and has a lot of protein, itself.

I'm not sure about what dissolves easily.  I use a mini blender or shaker cup.

Thanks for the replies.  I usually just mix it with some soy milk in a glass bottle and shake it like a maniac.  I don't like putting it into a smoothie because I find it always ends up way to thick.  I will try mixing the 3 different ones with some vanilla almond milk.  I just got some for the first time today, and it seems as though it would be good to cover up not so tasty flavors.
