Are redhots vegan?

I'd not ask this, but there are no redhots in town, I can't just go and look.  I have found a recipe for cinnamon popcorn, an absolute addiction of mine and something I could have, if redhots are vegan. I can't imagine that they are, I'll be the contain gelatin.

Barring that...does someone have a vegan recipe for cinnamon candy that might work? I am really wanting to indulge this addiction.  I'll make everyone else caramel corn because I am NOT sharing!

For some reason I though they were b/c they were listed on the I Can't Believe It's Vegan List....but you never know.

I only wonder if they have beeswax in them.....???

Found this online:

From the package:

"Cinnamon Flavored Candies" ... "Ingredients: Sucrose, Corn Syrup, Corn Starch, Gum Arabic, Artificial Flavor, Confectioners Glaze, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax and Red #40."

I don't think these are from the Red Hots brand, but just a similar type of candy.

If you don't want to do red hots (don't know your personal feeling about the beeswax), maybe you could try the Brach's cinnamon hard candies? I don't know if you could melt them down or something, but I know those are vegan (because I've been munching all too frequently out of the candy dish at work lately  :-[ ).
