Cheddar Tofutti Cream Cheese!!!!

My discount health food store had Tofutti Cream Cheese for 99 Cents so I bought a bunch. Didn't realize till I got home that it was orange and "cheddar" flavor! I have never seen this before! Its actually really good. I made a patty  melt with it (veg burger with the cheese and grilled bread with pickles!) I also think it will make a good spinach artichoke dip.

Usually when things end up at this store, it means its being discontinued or not selling well. Did anyone else ever see this product? If you do, try it!

No, I haven't seen it anywhere yet.  It's not on thier site either.  Maybe something they are test marketing?  I wish they had it here....I'll keep looking.  It sounds good!

I hate you a little for having such a thing as a discount health food store. :'(

Seriously. It's crazy when WF is always cheaper than your HFS.  :(

I have not heard of or seen this.  I will definitely try this, if I am fortunate enough to ever come across it!

Its kind of a close out store. LIke Whole Foods meets Big Lots.  Its freaking amazing! Its actually called Amazing Savings. Sometimes the stuff is expired or is funky......but I got some FYH cheese there for like 1.79! The Peppermint Chocolate soy milk is always 99.  Dairy free yogurts are 3 for 1.00. I save a ton of money there. I also end up buying a lot of junk though. Just because its cheap. Now what to do with 3 tubs of cheddar cream cheese!

:wow: I can't wait to visit someday...
It must be a fairly old/not made anymore product..because it's not on their website (and wasn't when I made the dairy alternative review thread).
I think you need to go buy all of them, and send all of us one.  ^-^

I think one of my former co-workers at my hfs works there!  I don't know her well b/c she quit the week I started, but she moved to Asheville and I heard someone else telling a customer that she was working at a "Big Lot's style hfs."  Ha.  Cool.

Hey, L2A! I accidentally bought this kind once, too. It was a couple of months ago at the HFS. They have all the Tofutti stuff way up high so I just grabbed it without really reading the label. (I wish they would label the sides too, not just the top...) Anyway, I thought this was gonna be so freaking awesome...but I wasn't that impressed. I used it to make mac and cheese and it was awful. It was my fault, though. I let the color deceive me. It looked so orange and creamy I thought it would be scrumptious but i barely ate it....

I haven't seem it since then, so maybe it was like a trial run or something...boo, me cuz I paid full price.

To me, it sounds like that cheese stuff that comes in a can...  What was that called?  EZ cheese or something?  ???

I was so wishing that is what it would taste like, but not so much. I was envisioning heating it up, adding spices and reliving the Cheez Whiz days...
