Cheezly

I ordered something from Vegan Essentials and it arrived with a card about Cheezly, the self-proclaimed "Finest Vegan 'Cheese'" and it apparently won one of the 2005 Veggie Awards VegNews gives out. Anyone know anything about Cheezly? It will be "available soon exclusively online from www.veganessentials.com." We didn't like Sheese. Has anyone had both and can compare the two?

Cheezly Mozzarella is what I get here in NZ. There aren't many vegan cheese options (maybe 3 or 4) in my neck of the woods and they have all been rather unpleasant tasting. - One almost destroyed my microwave, sparks at all. It was like lightning zapping my cheese. - I haven't tried the cheddar one and I didn't like the herbed one. But I really like Cheezly's mozzarella. My omni boyfriend says it tastes like real cheese, but not as strong. Which is fine by me, considering my palate is much more delicate and sensitive than his. It's expensive here $10 (NZD) for 190grams compared to dairy cheese which is a few bucks for a kilo (1000grams). JD makes me macaroni and cheese with it, I have it on toast and with nachos.

Just in case it wasn't clear, Cheezly has never tried to destroy any of my kitchen appliances. The one that did that was more like a brick than cheese. Cheezly is the only vegan cheese of quality down here.
And yeh, we were pretty shocked by the mini electric storm in our microwave.

I would be too! What the heck was in that cheese to make it spark in the microwave? ??? I'd hate to know.
