Cook's Illustrated veggie burger review

Looks like none of them really got great reviews :\
I wonder if they were trying them in a bun with all the fixings. That's what really makes any burger anyway. We really like Licks Nature Burgers.
I read that and was wondering the same thing. Like any good burger, you enjoy it with a bun, lettuce, tomato, condiments, etc.
I bet there were no long-time vegans or vegetarians who rated these. Everyones taste changes when you quit eating animal products. I wouldn't trust test kitchens judgement on this. I l do my own testing after I read the ingredients & try it.
