It is that Time of year again, and My hands are always Tore up from the Floor up.
I have used Kiss my Face, Jason, and now onto Alba.
Jason was my favorite, but lately they smell bad- I think they switched up the Formula or something.
So I am using Alba Botanical Fragrance Free...It is not doing so good at the Moment, but need to give it more time.
Your Personal Favorites???
Kiss My Face Lavender & Shea Butter Ultra Moisturizer
Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter
I like them because neither one feels excessively greasy or smells perfumey. In fact, the Pacifica smells good enough to eat. Someone gave me some Jason Lavender lotion, but I don't think it smells like lavender at all--just perfume. I don't care for it much.
Thanks for sharing, I am gonna look up the Pacifica you mentioned.
I was using Jason Fragrance Free (Which it is not really.)
Kiss my Face was good, but not good enough in the Winter for My Skeletor Hands...
I like Aubrey Organics. I have their 8 fl. oz. pump bottle unscented hand and body lotion. There's hardly any smell and even that dissipates readily. I also have a 4 fl. oz. tub of Desert Essence facial moisturizer. It doesn't really smell, either. The Desert Essence is thicker and slightly tacky for a minute after application, but in my mind thicker is better during winter. I use them interchangeably.
I use Dream Cream from Lush, but also put coconut oil on my hands and feet before I go to sleep each night. I rub it in especially well into my finger nails and cuticle and make sure I put socks on. It saves my cuticles and keeps my feet from turning into hooves.
Nature's Gate in papaya is my favorite!
It's so thick and it really keeps my skin soft all day - and I have really bad dry skin in the winter. I got some Kiss My Face lotion for Christmas and I like it ok. Smells good - Chinese Botanical I think, but not as good of a moisturizer as Nature's Gate.
Jason was my favorite, but lately they smell bad- I think they switched up the Formula or something.
I was wondering if they changed the formula as well. The scents used to be so fresh and clean smelling, now they smell strange and not so fresh.
I think I may give Lush a try.
Update from the Vegan Lotion Front...
Tried JASON again (Bottle design slightly different)
And it doesn't smell like a Waxy Outhouse!
They added stuff too, like ginseng and green tea.
Still not the best scent, but do-able.
I will check out Lush...Thanks!!!
;)b ;)b ;)b ;)b ill try too
Malcom's Miracle is the best vegan & cruelty free lotion I have ever tried. I have to buy it online & it is $20. But amazing & SO worth it!
Nature's Gate Moisturizing Lotion. I love the "incense" kinda smell. I use their herbal shampoo too, same scent.
Alba Botanials papaya mango body cream, fo sho. It's expensive, but soo good.
I am in need of scent free products for sensitive skin....any suggestions?
Right now I'm using Beautiful Soap & Company. They're expensive, but I got them on sale like half price so it was pretty average. I really like their lotion. It smells nice and it works. And it's completely all-natural.
Kiss My Face Peaceful Patchouli is awesome. It's not a girly scent, so both my bf and I use it. It soaks in really quickly, and it feels like it lasts a long time. I found it on drugstore.com for $8 on sale.
Scent free--I think there's a Toms of Maine unscented bar soap. Also, Dr. Bronner's has a liquid baby soap, and that might be good for sensitive skin.
