Food Processors

I'm looking for one, but I'm still unsure which brand/model is best. Any suggestions?

Cuisinart all the way!

I agree with quintess, Cuisinart is hands down the best brand for Food Processing IMHO. The next one seems to be Black and Decker, and then Osterizer, with the 'off brands' following.

Cuisinart. I have the 7 cup classic.

I have a 12 cup Kitchen Aid and it is a dream.  9 years old, and it still does most of the "work" in my kitchen!

I love my 7 cup cuisinart, but Colleen Patrick-Goudreaux always recommends the Kitchenaid because apparently it comes with different sized bowls.

Yep, it has the big, regular bowl, and a baby bowl that fits inside it, maybe 5 cups?  its nice if you only have a small measure you need to process.

I have the kitchen aid too and I think it works very well.

Even though I haven't had a problem with my Kitchen Aid food processor, if you are going to be buying a high end food processor I encourage you to pay attention to the warranty.  It is shocking to me that manufacturers that sell gadgets that go for a couple of hundred dollars give such crappy six month or one year warranties.  Sometimes the stores offer additional protection--I know William Sonoma does and that is one reason I buy my stuff there even though it is a bit pricier than other places.
