Thanks to everyone who mentioned how much they liked Larabars in an older granola bar thread.
I ordered every flavor online (the maya/jocalate ones too) and got them all today and we did a taste test tonight! I only tried 3 but MMM!!! We are so impressed!!!!
Cherry Pie was my FAV! (of the 3 we tried) I can't wait to get through ALL the bars so that I know which to order entire boxes of!!

I just tried the banana one today and it reminded me of the banana muffins that my mom used to make, fabulous!
I got the lemon bar and the banana cookie today! I am so excited to try them. I was disappointed though that Cinnamon roll had raisins in it. I don't like raisins, especially mixed with cinamon, so I wasn't ready to try it yet. How much do they usually cost? I paid $1.5 per bar.
OMG ~ I finally got my hands on a Cinnamon Roll one & WOW! :D Talk about YUMMMY! This may beat out Cherry Pie as my favorite flavor.
We went to an outdoor show where they had a Larabar booth. I picked one up and immediately flipped it over to read the ingredients. I noted to my hubby, who is DEATHLY allergic to treenuts, that this one had nuts. He picked up a few more and read the ingredients, "nuts". He then proceeded to ask the display lady if any of them were nut free. She gave him this look and said, "they're a nut bar, honey"
I can't remember which one I tried.. (to busy chasing the twinkies around the stadium) but the texture reminded me of "eat-more" chocolate bars.

I did see the banana, the ginger, and the cocoa mole. Does anyone have opinions on those?
Cocoa Mole is in my top 5 I think. It's unique. Chocolatey with a hint of spice afterwards. YUM!
I have finished taste testing them all now... LOL (except key lime and pistachio as these are new and were not available for my initial taste testing)
Now that I am all done and have let the flavors sit I know what my favs were.
Though none were "bad" ... I like some more than others...and other than chocolate coffee I didn't like the Jocalat bars as much.
I WILL be getting these again:
Cherry Pie
Chocolate Coffee (Jocalat)
Ginger Snap (Ginger helps fight morning sickness :) )
Lemon Bar (amazingly lemony, yum!)
Cocoa Mole (hint of spicy hot in the aftertaste, mmm!)
Probably will get these if I see them but not ordering by the box online like those above :
I think in general I liked these alot but they were less memorable than those above.

cinamonn roll
apple pie
And NOT getting these:
Banana Cookie (it was good! very banana-y... I just don't love bananas)
Mint Chocolate (I felt like the mint brought out the date flavor more and me no likey dates)
Orange Chocolate (I don't like my chocolate and fruit mixed)
chocolate coconut (just kind of "eh..")
Does anyone think they totally need CARROT CAKE???

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Jenniferhughes, I love your breakdown. Did you know that Clif Bars have a carrot cake bar? For those of you that don't love dates, I wonder if maybe you just haven't had really good fresh dates. Before I moved to the land of the dates, I didn't think I liked dates, either. Now, I love fresh dates; they taste like caramels to me. Date shakes are awesome!

Wow. Impressive response from the Larabar team. I didn't know about the variety of Larabars until Vegweb and will definitely be snacking on more of their bars.
That's too awesome!! :D I haven't tried Larabar yet (what can I say... I'm poor!) so this is very exciting!
WOW...the LARABAR team rocks! I just emailed asking for samples of the JOCALAT sample. I've never noticed those at my store & they sound really YUM!

This makes me feel lucky to live in Pittsburgh...they are 'only' 1.5 each here.
I actually had a dream about the cherry pie larabar I tried for the first time yesterday afternoon...I went to Whole Foods today and got more. I am trying so hard to keep myself from eating the other 2 I have in my purse. I, um, actually bought three... ::)
I had never had fresh dates before...only dried...I was surprised when they didn't immediatly make me feel way too full/sick.
Just so people know... the offer only includes addresses within the US. I was hoping Canada would be included in the deal, but it's not. :'( I'll just have to give in and order a couple online! myself All these accolades are making me curious...

Wow, my mail carrier just dropped off my Larabar free sample package!! That was super quick! I received 4 full-size larabars in apple pie, cherry pie, cashew cookie, and lemon. They also included a couple stickers and brochures. THANKS, LARABAR!
So, it wasn't a free sample, but yesterday I tried a Larabar for the first time (Cherry Pie) and my mouth still waters when I think about it. Yum!
So not a lot of variety where I'm at but the store did have cherry pie. OH MY GOODNESS. I am going to have to control myself so I don't eat like 5 a day. I love them! They are not sugary sweet like some of the other stuff I've tried. And yes, they are 190 calories, but they are packed with fiber, vitamins and minerals and it counts as one serving of fruit! I submitted my info for a sample pack, can't wait to try more! As anyone else received their sample pack yet?
OMG! I am so happy someone bumped this to the top again! I never would've known about the free samples! I looove Larabars. That chocolate coconut one sounded incredible. I hope I get some of those in my free sample. However I do feel luckier than most; I work at a mall and the store across from us is GNC (General Nutrition Center) and behind all the rows of vitamins and supplements are LARABARS and organic/natural skin care items. Only a few (and only 2 flavors of larabars) but for working in the mall, I get a 30 percent discount!!! WOOT! :D
Rock on Larabar-People. They should send in reps to add recipes for breakfast bars ;D
