Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Soap - been my facial soup for years since I have dry skin. Leaves my face smooth. I like that it's not full of air and lasts me about nine month for a big bar.

Ami Dog Vegan Dog Food - this was the first vegan food I tried the babies on. They love it, and within a week both of their coats turned amazingly soft, which is a sign of good nutrition.
Evolution Diet Vegan Dog Kibble - seems to be a good quality food. I had one bag arrive with grease stains on the bottom, which bothered me.
B Fresh Vegan Chewing Gum Packs - my big complaint about these gums is the flavor seems to last a few minutes and then meh
Men's Belt by Vegetarian shoes - must have missed it up above, but I'd give two thumbs up. They are high quality and last long.
Men's tri-fold wall The Vegan collection - Excellent quality and long-lasting. Would make a good gift for the vegan man.
Veganu Soap - This is my bath soap I use every day. It's cheap, smell o.k. and lasts as on long as regular soap.

I really need to try Dr. Cow cheese again. When I visited a friend in San Francisco a couple years ago, she had just had some Dr. Cow delivered, and we sampled like 5 or 6 varieties. I remembered LOVING a couple of them, thinking a couple of them were just okay, and almost throwing up from the other(s). Of course, I can't remember which was which & now I'm afraid to order any because I don't want to get a pukey one! The ones that were good, though... Ooh, they were very good!

Peanut Butter Pillows by Chocolate Inspirations Original Plain A lot like the filling of a Butterfinger, but a little bit more peanut-buttery. Flakey, kind of chewy at the end. It held up with regular shipping and no cold pack.
Spun City Organic Cotton Candy Cherry Vanilla I think this one has a stronger flavor than the grape - finally cotton candy that actually taste like stuff. I'm not sure why, but this was kind of condensed in its package - not moist or anything, just not as fluffy as the grape had been. It might have been the heat in shipping, I dunno. The cherry flavor is a little stronger than vanilla.
Vegan Gourmet Fudge Bar by Chocolate Inspirations It's more like a fudgier 3 Musketeers than actual fudge. Surprisingly, it didn't melt at all in shipping. I kinda wanted something more like fudge, and this was too much like a sweet candy bar. It's fine and everything, but probably my least favorite of Chocolate Inspirations things I've tried so far, 'cause everything else they make is delicious.
Q.bel Double Dark Chocolate Wafer Bars It's basically one of those sugar creme filled wafer things with a coat of chocolate.The chocolate cream in it is better than that in cheap sugar wafers, but still, nothing spectacular really. It's not like a kit kat.
Santa Cruz Organic Chocolate Syrup Pretty good. It's like hersheys except it actually tastes like chocolate, and has a slight malty flavor. It's somewhere between hershey's chocolate syrup and fudge sauce in terms of taste. Nothing really distinct about it, though it does the job.
Rice Crispy Treats by Sweet & Sara Crispy, chewy, tasty. It gets crispier if you keep it in the fridge. Based off the package it pretty much looks like all it is is rice cereal, their marshmallows, and earth balance, but I'm too lazy to invest in that process, so I think it's worth it. It's about the size of a rice crispy you'd get at a cafe or something, so not a bad deal, and traveled well with regular shipping.
Vegan Dream Rawhide Jerky Hickory Pepper Possibly the most jerky-like vegan jerky I've had. It's drier and a bit saltier than Tofurky Jurky, Tasty Eats, or Primal Strips, which makes it more "realistic" to me. It comes mostly as one big piece, and though it's the same oz as other jerkies, it's hard not to eat the whole thing in one sitting because it's not in separate pieces. It looks kind of unappetizing, like the texture of vinyl, but it's dry and chewy so only the looks are unsettling.
Clari-T Pore Cleansing Strips by Earth Therapeutics I've not tried any other version of these things, so I can't really compare. It leaves some adhesive residue =/ and it doesn't really get every pore. I hear that they work better right after a shower though, so I might try that.
Justin's All-Natural Chocolate Nut Butters Hazelnut; 1.15 oz. packet Omg delicious. If I needed to gain weight and had the money, I would eat a tub of this. It's like a much higher quality version of Nutella. Hazelnuts seem to vary in levels of deliciousness, but these are some good ones. It's pretty smooth, and among the spreads, is the most liquid.
Justin's All-Natural Chocolate Nut Butters Almond; 1.15 oz. packet The almond flavor predominates over the chocolate here. It's good, but compared to the others is my least favorite.
Justin's All-Natural Chocolate Nut Butters Peanut; 1.15 oz. packet I thought that this would be pretty much chocolate + peanut butter, but there's a fair amount of cocoa butter in here. There's cocoa butter in all the flavors, but I can taste it the most in this one, to the point that it reminded me of lotion (aside from that association, it's good). I'm used to unsalted nut butters, so all of these varieties taste a little salty to me. But they're only like 3% per packet, so not so much.
Perk & Brew Lip Balm by Crazy Rumors Apple Spice I need to know how these people manage to make these things smell better than the real thing. It's like every apple pie, candy, or tea that ever existed. Fruity, spicy (cinnamon), sweet.
Perk & Brew Lip Balm by Crazy Rumors Spiced Chai A nice kind of mild spice (mostly a cardamom/ginger thing, I think).
DariFree Soy-Free Vegan Milk Alternative Chocolate; Trial Size More watery than soymilk, more on par with rice milk or hemp milk. It makes a better chocolate milk than just plain soymilk + chocolate syrup, pretty chocolatey and everything. It kind of has a significant amount of salt though (5% or something), so I'd prefer it without that. Now I'm curious to try the original... not bad for "potato milk". It also has a lot more fortification than standard milk alternatives, which doesn't seem to affect the flavor. The trial size makes 8 oz, but it looks like the full size containers call a "serving" 1.5 cups, just a note. You can get 6 trial size things with free shipping from the manufacturer's website, though the full sized container would probably be cheaper from VE with an order.

haha, yeah. it's easier with VE though because i tend to review things as a whole order from them. with other things (cookbooks, etc) i just wait until my list of things to make runs out and review everything. But it's not always easy remembering... i guess i could review one by one, but i'd take up pages.

Dr. Oetker Simple Organics Pudding / Pie Filling Mixes Chocolate Made this and put it in a pie crust. Not bad! The flavor is not quite as smooth as that 'gross' jello pudding, but good. I'd get it again. Vanilla Good as well! Ate this just as pudding. I added about another teaspoon of vanilla. My texture was a bit gloppy, but good flavor. I'd get this again as well.
Wholly Wholesome Vegan Graham Cracker Pie Crust I was very surprised to find this in the grocery store. It's not really very flavorful, but it works. The top edges are a bit crumbly, but it's fine otherwise. Kinda blah for flavor, but nice to have a vegan "graham cracker" thing.

Original: I found this at whole foods along with the marshmellows and the PB S'mores. I just got the original and thought it was ok. The best part was the crust and chocolate. Maybe I just do not miss s'mores that much. I don't think I would pay $4.00 for it again but I am glad I tried it.

This is my attempt to use a higher end shampoo. I've only used it once, but my hair seems pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the scent..it's kinda like..alcohol?
Sam's Yams veggie rawhide sweet potato dog chewz
Gave one to Olen last night. He was confused at first, then loved it (seemingly). He has had a couple bones (rawhide from shelter, bones from parents, etc.) in his lifetime with us, and they have always made his tummy upset. He seems to have a very sensitive tummy (and heart <3), so Ive learned to be careful about what to give him. He hasn't had any troubles so far. Seems ok, no throw up, no bad poop. He licked the sweet potato for a long time, and then just kinda nibbled on it. I don't know how well it worked to clean his teeth, but it was fun. It lasted a few minutes.

Yum. At first it doesn't seem to have a lot of flavor, just a good chocolate flavor, but then it all comes together. The filling is kinda sticky like caramel which was surprising. Coffee flavor is good. Good bar. I'd try the other flavors.

Been wanting a vegan glue for a while. I used this on _____________ for __________, and it seemed to work ok. Definitely needs to dry a bit. We'll see how it holds up.

Not a huge vitamin fan, but decided to give it a go. This one seemed to be the most inclusive and economic (??). They stink and don't taste great. I don't know how it works, but it most definitely made my pee bright bright orange for the day. That doesn't seem like a good sign...(it's all being peed out?)

This is a bit strange. It almost tastes more like almond extract? The almond butter is really strong. It's a tiny little cup, though. I wouldn't get this again.
This one is good. The peanut butter is crunchy, so it almost seems like a butter finger/chico stick type thing. Tastes like more than just chocolate and peanut butter. Liked it. Cute.
Dairy free white buttons
I was "upset" because the bag is sososo tiny. I thought it would be a normal chocolate chip sized bag, but it's minimini. I then tasted one. Amazing.
eta: and by sensitive heart..I didn't mean his actual heart muscle. His soul, if you will.

Nah, that's just excess B12. That happens to me with most multivitamins, and it's not harmful.
ETA: Wait, bright orange, or bright yellow? Mine is bright yellow when my vitamin has a lot of B12. I've never seen orange pee!

Nah, that's just excess B12. That happens to me with most multivitamins, and it's not harmful.
ETA: Wait, bright orange, or bright yellow? Mine is bright yellow when my vitamin has a lot of B12. I've never seen orange pee!
Yeah, I know it's not harmful, and I know it happens..always happens with nooch. But it just makes me think I don't need an extra vitamins, and it's all being peed out. I'm just anti-vitamin, I guess. ...It was pretty orange. eta: and by "pretty," I don't mean beautiful.

Go by how your body feels! I'm pro-vitamin for myself, even though I eat super healthy 95% of the time, but I def don't think everyone needs them. I'm a worrier by nature, so I'm a "better safe than sorry" person, esp for B12, but that's just me.
Not like you need me to tell you that... Just being supportive. 8-)

So, that 1st sweet potato chew lasted maybe 15-20 minutes (licked it/gnawed on it). I just gave him his 2nd one, and it lasted maybe 2 minutes. I guess he was no longer confused! He just bit off huge chunks, and ate them. Ha!

Organic Truffles by Boardwalk Chocolates Nut Roaster I'll review the individual flavors: Peanut Butter Cloud (with marshmallow) Not as excellent as I had hoped. The marshmallow was all on one side, and the pb part had kind of a rough texture but wasn't super flavorful. Oh well. White Cashew Cardamom DELICIOUS. The white chocolate outside was... white chocolatey. Not waxy & totally solid like some vegan white chocolate. And cashew + cardamom + sugar is delicious and smooth. Almond Orange Strange. Not very strong on either the almond or orange flavors, and I don't think they go that well. Hazelnut Tasty as all hazelnut chocolates naturally are. Smooth texture.
Vegan "Milk" Chocolates Pralines by Moo Free I assumed these were pecan pralines, but they're hazelnut (score!). The filling is very thick, and doesn't really taste too caramelized to me, but is sweet, nutty, and has that 'roasted' nut type of flavor. Good stuff!
(sorry if these go in the dairy thread or something) Sheese - Strong Cheddar Yeah, super strong. Sheese kind of has this after taste of vinegar though... I like it, it's very strong, and a little goes a long way, but that end taste kinds of bothers me and is almost vomitous because of the acidity (yeah I said it). I baked some on top of another dish and it heightened that flavor, agh. I'm sticking to crackers & sheese from here on out.
Creamy Sheese - Garlic & Herb SUPER STRONG. It's not like 'cream cheese,' it really is like creamy cheese, if that makes sense. I had some as a sandwich spread, and discovered I used way too much. As always with Sheese, a little goes a long way... The 'cheese' flavor is stronger than the herb flavor, but the herb flavor is definitely still there.
Liz Lovely Artisan Cookies - Cowboy Pretty good, kinda cookie dough-ish if softened in the microwave (<20 seconds). It's cool that they're cheaper now (used to be $4 for 2, now $3 for 2), but it's probably not something I would get again. It's good and all (and actually has kind of a strong vanilla flavor), but it's one of those things that I would only spend the money on trying the varieties if I didn't bake. They're somewhere between fresh cookies and dry packaged cookies in tastiness. I like the fancy little chocolate decorativeness though.
Vegan Danish Kringle by Larsen Bakery - Pecan Pretty good. The filling is thick and sweet, and has occasional whole pecan halves and large chunks. The pastry is flaky, not quite like puff pastry, but a bit denser. The icing is like (or is) royal icing. I'd like to try other varieties, but only if I'm already ordering something perishable (donuts!), not worth it by itself. The price is decent; it looks kind of big, but gets eaten quickly... or maybe that's just me. Heh.
Vegan Cinnamon Rolls with "Buttercream" frosting by Larsen Bakery On the box these say "cinnamon pershing donuts," and they're for sure donuts, not cinnamon rolls. They were pretty disappointing, not just for that reason. They seemed pretty dry, and aside that, just didn't have a whole lot of flavor. The cinnamon swirl was thin, too thin to really be like "BAM! cinnamon rolls!" - it was hard to taste. The frosting it comes with, however, was most amazing (cinnamon cream cheese frosting). That frosting really made the rolls. It's too thick to spread straight out of the fridge, so I had to carefully heat some up - heated too long, the oil separates out and it won't re-emulsify easily. But either way, tasty. It's too bad the rolls themselves couldn't be the same way.

Justin's All-Natural Chocolate Nut Butters
Peanut; 1.15 oz. packet
I thought that this would be pretty much chocolate + peanut butter, but there's a fair amount of cocoa butter in here. There's cocoa butter in all the flavors, but I can taste it the most in this one, to the point that it reminded me of lotion (aside from that association, it's good). I'm used to unsalted nut butters, so all of these varieties taste a little salty to me. But they're only like 3% per packet, so not so much.

Chocolate; Trial Size
More watery than soymilk, more on par with rice milk or hemp milk. It makes a better chocolate milk than just plain soymilk + chocolate syrup, pretty chocolatey and everything. It kind of has a significant amount of salt though (5% or something), so I'd prefer it without that. Now I'm curious to try the original... not bad for "potato milk". It also has a lot more fortification than standard milk alternatives, which doesn't seem to affect the flavor. The trial size makes 8 oz, but it looks like the full size containers call a "serving" 1.5 cups, just a note. You can get 6 trial size things with free shipping from the manufacturer's website, though the full sized container would probably be cheaper from VE with an order.

haha, yeah. it's easier with VE though because i tend to review things as a whole order from them. with other things (cookbooks, etc) i just wait until my list of things to make runs out and review everything. But it's not always easy remembering... i guess i could review one by one, but i'd take up pages.

Made this and put it in a pie crust. Not bad! The flavor is not quite as smooth as that 'gross' jello pudding, but good. I'd get it again.
Vanilla
Good as well! Ate this just as pudding. I added about another teaspoon of vanilla. My texture was a bit gloppy, but good flavor. I'd get this again as well.
Wholly Wholesome Vegan Graham Cracker Pie Crust
I was very surprised to find this in the grocery store. It's not really very flavorful, but it works. The top edges are a bit crumbly, but it's fine otherwise. Kinda blah for flavor, but nice to have a vegan "graham cracker" thing.
Sweet & Sara Vegan S’mores
Original: I found this at whole foods along with the marshmellows and the PB S'mores. I just got the original and thought it was ok. The best part was the crust and chocolate. Maybe I just do not miss s'mores that much. I don't think I would pay $4.00 for it again but I am glad I tried it.

This is my attempt to use a higher end shampoo. I've only used it once, but my hair seems pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the scent..it's kinda like..alcohol?
Sam's Yams veggie rawhide sweet potato dog chewz
Gave one to Olen last night. He was confused at first, then loved it (seemingly). He has had a couple bones (rawhide from shelter, bones from parents, etc.) in his lifetime with us, and they have always made his tummy upset. He seems to have a very sensitive tummy (and heart <3), so Ive learned to be careful about what to give him. He hasn't had any troubles so far. Seems ok, no throw up, no bad poop. He licked the sweet potato for a long time, and then just kinda nibbled on it. I don't know how well it worked to clean his teeth, but it was fun. It lasted a few minutes.

Yum. At first it doesn't seem to have a lot of flavor, just a good chocolate flavor, but then it all comes together. The filling is kinda sticky like caramel which was surprising. Coffee flavor is good. Good bar. I'd try the other flavors.

Been wanting a vegan glue for a while. I used this on _____________ for __________, and it seemed to work ok. Definitely needs to dry a bit. We'll see how it holds up.

Not a huge vitamin fan, but decided to give it a go. This one seemed to be the most inclusive and economic (??). They stink and don't taste great. I don't know how it works, but it most definitely made my pee bright bright orange for the day. That doesn't seem like a good sign...(it's all being peed out?)

This is a bit strange. It almost tastes more like almond extract? The almond butter is really strong. It's a tiny little cup, though. I wouldn't get this again.

This one is good. The peanut butter is crunchy, so it almost seems like a butter finger/chico stick type thing. Tastes like more than just chocolate and peanut butter. Liked it. Cute.
Dairy free white buttons
I was "upset" because the bag is sososo tiny. I thought it would be a normal chocolate chip sized bag, but it's minimini. I then tasted one. Amazing.
eta: and by sensitive heart..I didn't mean his actual heart muscle. His soul, if you will.

Nah, that's just excess B12. That happens to me with most multivitamins, and it's not harmful.
ETA: Wait, bright orange, or bright yellow? Mine is bright yellow when my vitamin has a lot of B12. I've never seen orange pee!

Yeah, I know it's not harmful, and I know it happens..always happens with nooch. But it just makes me think I don't need an extra vitamins, and it's all being peed out. I'm just anti-vitamin, I guess.

Go by how your body feels! I'm pro-vitamin for myself, even though I eat super healthy 95% of the time, but I def don't think everyone needs them. I'm a worrier by nature, so I'm a "better safe than sorry" person, esp for B12, but that's just me.

So, that 1st sweet potato chew lasted maybe 15-20 minutes (licked it/gnawed on it). I just gave him his 2nd one, and it lasted maybe 2 minutes. I guess he was no longer confused! He just bit off huge chunks, and ate them. Ha!

Peanut Butter Cloud (with marshmallow)
Not as excellent as I had hoped. The marshmallow was all on one side, and the pb part had kind of a rough texture but wasn't super flavorful. Oh well.
White Cashew Cardamom
DELICIOUS. The white chocolate outside was... white chocolatey. Not waxy & totally solid like some vegan white chocolate. And cashew + cardamom + sugar is delicious and smooth.
Almond Orange
Strange. Not very strong on either the almond or orange flavors, and I don't think they go that well.
Hazelnut
Tasty as all hazelnut chocolates naturally are. Smooth texture.
Vegan "Milk" Chocolates Pralines by Moo Free
I assumed these were pecan pralines, but they're hazelnut (score!). The filling is very thick, and doesn't really taste too caramelized to me, but is sweet, nutty, and has that 'roasted' nut type of flavor. Good stuff!

Sheese - Strong Cheddar
Yeah, super strong. Sheese kind of has this after taste of vinegar though... I like it, it's very strong, and a little goes a long way, but that end taste kinds of bothers me and is almost vomitous because of the acidity (yeah I said it). I baked some on top of another dish and it heightened that flavor, agh. I'm sticking to crackers & sheese from here on out.
Creamy Sheese - Garlic & Herb
SUPER STRONG. It's not like 'cream cheese,' it really is like creamy cheese, if that makes sense. I had some as a sandwich spread, and discovered I used way too much. As always with Sheese, a little goes a long way... The 'cheese' flavor is stronger than the herb flavor, but the herb flavor is definitely still there.
Liz Lovely Artisan Cookies - Cowboy
Pretty good, kinda cookie dough-ish if softened in the microwave (<20 seconds). It's cool that they're cheaper now (used to be $4 for 2, now $3 for 2), but it's probably not something I would get again. It's good and all (and actually has kind of a strong vanilla flavor), but it's one of those things that I would only spend the money on trying the varieties if I didn't bake. They're somewhere between fresh cookies and dry packaged cookies in tastiness. I like the fancy little chocolate decorativeness though.
Vegan Danish Kringle by Larsen Bakery - Pecan
Pretty good. The filling is thick and sweet, and has occasional whole pecan halves and large chunks. The pastry is flaky, not quite like puff pastry, but a bit denser. The icing is like (or is) royal icing. I'd like to try other varieties, but only if I'm already ordering something perishable (donuts!), not worth it by itself. The price is decent; it looks kind of big, but gets eaten quickly... or maybe that's just me. Heh.
Vegan Cinnamon Rolls with "Buttercream" frosting by Larsen Bakery
On the box these say "cinnamon pershing donuts," and they're for sure donuts, not cinnamon rolls. They were pretty disappointing, not just for that reason. They seemed pretty dry, and aside that, just didn't have a whole lot of flavor. The cinnamon swirl was thin, too thin to really be like "BAM! cinnamon rolls!" - it was hard to taste. The frosting it comes with, however, was most amazing (cinnamon cream cheese frosting). That frosting really made the rolls. It's too thick to spread straight out of the fridge, so I had to carefully heat some up - heated too long, the oil separates out and it won't re-emulsify easily. But either way, tasty. It's too bad the rolls themselves couldn't be the same way.
