smart balance oganic - what happened?

where did it go? michael and i havent seen it in atleast a month now. is it done for? does it have a new name? now that its gone, what are some other common vegan margarines out there. we havent found any yet at our store : (

earth balance whipped and smart balance organic are the same exact product. I think they were just using both names for marketing reasons. If you have a health food store, you can get earth balance--it's the same! :)
I didn't know Smart Balance Organic was vegan (or the same as EB whipped), but I know the Smart Balance Light is different from EB in that the natural flavors in EB are corn-derived. Due to hubby's corn allergy, SBL is the only margarine we can use. It's easy to find in any grocery store.
i dont know if our store has sb light. i'll have to check again. they definitely dont have any eb. the closest health food store is an hour away. hopefully they have sb light!!! i miss margarine : (
I buy EB because that's what they have in the store but I think SB tastes better.

it's in a white and lime green container. i find it much easier than i can find earth balance. i don't know where you are, but i'm in washington (seattle area). we find smart balance light at safeway, qfc, whole foods, and pretty much any other major grocery store we've looked in. i even found it quite easily in regular grocery stores in oklahoma (non-veg land), michigan, and philadelphia (i'm sure it could be found in other cities in pa, but that was the area i was in).
we buy smart balance light because it's half the calories, has flax (good source of omegas), it's non-hydrogenated, and it's so easy to find!

HEB carries smart balance light. some of the newer "nicer" HEBs have earth balance.
yeah i am still near austin. i'm thinking of going down this weekend to go shoe shopping if you want to meet up.
i found sbl in our grocery store up here last week! yay. problem solved : )
I'm in Austin too and I asked the guy at HEB what the deal was and they said SB Organic wasn't selling very well in their stores so they stopped carrying it. I tried the SB light and didn't care for the taste so I've switched to EB even though they only have it at the WF near me. I just wait to go when I need organic tofu and tempeh since my HEB has neither.
