Actually when I looked at the site one of their bacon flavored salts is listed as vegan. It's the hickory one if anyone's interested.

I have not heard of Baconnaise, but now I want some. I'd even buy bread for it. Veganaise/vegan bacon bit mayo and thick sliced tomatoes on Genesis bread.
Things I don't have to make my dream sandwich: Veganaise, tomatoes, bread. :'(

All flavors of bacon salt are vegetarian; Hickory is vegan. I got them for my bf last Christmas. He loved them. He'd probably love Baconnaise too. :P

I havent had BLTs in the longest time, last time i was frying my fake bacon at the same time as my mother was doing hers, the smell of hers just ruined everything, and then the bacon tasted too much like hers smelled. Bleh, made me completely dislike soy bacon.

What type of soy bacon would you recommend? I am very particular about my fake meats, because I have had some really bad experiences, so I just steer clear of them for the most part.

If you want to make your own, I recommend the Tempeh Bacon recipe from VWAV. http://www.recipezaar.com/Tempeh-Bacon-224060 (My copy says 3 T Bragg Liquid Aminos or tamari or soy sauce, not 2 T. Also, that's 1 pkg tempeh (8 oz), not 1 kg.)

The tempeh strips are good..just not very bacon-y...definitely very tasty though. I put them in burritos with homecooked beans, guac., and lettuce.
