breech baby?

So, I found out yesterday that my baby is breech. I'm 36 weeks, 2 days, and I'm scheduled to go in tomorrow for an ECV (where the doctor tries to turn the baby by squishing my tummy around). I'm also trying moxibustion at home, and I'm doing various poses to keep my hips higher than my shoulders to keep the baby from settling into my pelvis and getting "stuck" this way. Anyone have any other ideas/suggestions to get it to turn over? Or encouraging stories about breech births that went well? I'm pretty stressed out about this.... :-\
Would it make you feel any better to know that I was breech, and I came out ok, and my mom did well?
You're still a few weeks away from your due date ( me too!) and I've read the baby can turn any time between now and then. My midwife suggested doing pelvic tilts/rocks to me for a number of reasons, including baby positioning - though I'm not certain that would help a breech turn.
Stay positive is the main thing! Many babies are born breech and everything is fine :)>>>
Don't panic. Find out what the midwife/doctor's policy is with breech deliveries and decide if you are okay with it. Don't wait. Do it now. Some doctors still c-section all breech babies.
I switched doctors at 36 weeks' pregnant because of similar birthing policies, so it can be done, but if you feel it is necessary, you don't want to run out of time. (I would have ended up induced and c-sectioned if I hadn't switched.) Hopefully that won't be necessary. There is a lot of good advice out there on delivering breech babies. I think Ina Mae Gaskin (sp?) has the best natural methods. It's been a while since I read her books, but I'd see if you can get a hold of them.

Yeah, I'm getting that done later today. Here's hoping that a) it works, and b) the baby doesn't flip back over between now and when it's born (the bigger it is, the harder it is to turn...so they could try to turn it again later, but it's less likely to work). Wish me luck!
What sort of breech position? Frank and complete, there's generally very little to worry about, when it comes to carrying and labor/birth, so long as things are monitored by doctor/midwife/what have you.
I think it was frank breech. I still have a few weeks to go though, so it might change. The ECV (baby turning) didn't work. :( And it was freaking painful. I'm seeing the hospital's breech specialist on Monday to go through all the options.
I'm so sorry you have to worry about this, pg. No matter what happens, though, you and the baby will be fine. Sometimes they're stubborn, even in the womb. Lots of love.
