Superstar VegWebber of the Week: irreverant!

This week's Superstar VegWebber irreverant (http://vegweb.com/index.php?action=profile;u=136391)! This New Hamshire lady has probably the coolest job i've ever heard about! Go on, irreverant, I want to work in a metal shop! Plus, any lover of kale chips is a friend of mine! Yay irreverant, you're a truly awesome inspiration!

VegWebber since? March 2010

Vegetarian, Vegan or ? Well, I follow a plant-based diet.

Where do you call home? Concord, NH

What do you do when you're not on VegWeb? LOL I work!  I run the chemical plating process room as well as CNC mills and PEMserters in a metal shop.

Do you have blog or website? yes, but it hasn't been updated in a while http://scrapedicebox.blogspot.com/

Do you tweet? not really

One unique thing should know about you? You'd have to meet me to truly understand the level of my extreme dorkinosity.

What’s the best thing about being vegan? (if you are!) The amazing diversity and variety of foods I have come to love since adopting a plant-based diet.  Not to mention the possibilities for kitchen alchemy experimentation!

Favorite romantic recipe on VegWeb? I'll let you know when I have someone to romance with food!

Favorite recipe on VegWeb to make for non-vegans to show them how amazing vegan food can be? Salsa Con Nooch-O  or Best Ever French Toast

Favorite healthy recipe on VegWeb? OMG Kale Chips.  Serious yummy awesomeness!

Favorite VegWeb recipe for summer? Purple Power Coconut Water Drink  Made into Purple Power Popsicles!  These have been a HUGE hit with the local munchkin population!

One thing you wish you could make vegan but haven’t succeeded at yet? Cheese.  I have tried to make cashew cheeze several times, but I always end up with a smelly mess.

#1 Cooking secret/tip?  recipes are like the Pirate's code: Guidelines!  change what you want to, there are NO food police!

Best music to cook by? Clutch, or Volbeat.  If you're like me and cook best while rocking out.

Three people you'd most like to have dinner with?  Neil Fallon, David Boreanaz, and...well...all my VegWebbers!

All time favorite restaurant? Oh, anything in Porter Square in Cambridge, MA!  Love me some Japanese food!

French fries or ice cream? Both, please!

Soy milk, rice milk, almond milk?  Soy milk.  Unsweetened please.  I find rice milk too thin, and almond milk too strongly flavored for me.

Tofu, tempeh, or seitan?  Tofu!!  Seitan is OK, if it's done right, but so far tempeh's just not my thing.

yah, irreverant!!  You kick arse!!

also, excellent choice in cooking music/dinner companions - Clutch are one of my all time favourite bands! : )
