Weekly Giveaway: Alicia Silverstone EcoTools set + bag! winner is ssheilah!

Alicia Silverstone is everywhere these days and I'm not complaining. Cher in Clueless has been my role model at more points in my life than I care to admit. What? She's sassy, funny, and has an amazing wardrobe. Anyway, it turns out that Alicia Silverstone is even more awesome than Cher. First, she's vegan, which automatically gives her ten million bonus points. Beyond that, she's super committed to showing the world that being vegan is easy, fun, and delicious. And, like Cher, she's doing it while looking fabulous. The Alicia Silverstone EcoTools 5-piece brush set + hemp makeup bag (http://www.parispresents.com/product_p/et1232.htm) is a must-have when you need to stay beautiful over the holidays.

For a chance to win a kit, let us know what your favorite Thanksgiving dish is.

Giveaway ends on Tuesday, December 1st at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!

Stuffing!  Its the only time a year I get it and I absolutely love it!  That and pumpkin pie, but I eat that all fall.

The "furkey" I have in the oven. Made with wheat gluten and thyme and sage and it is currently baking and making my house smell heavenly. Along with the pumpkin pies my daughter made that are vegan and have added a spicey-spice scent to the air, my tummy is growling already!

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is Vegan Mac and Cheeze. I got the BEST EVER recipe for it from the RecipeZaar website ages ago, and my husband and daughter and I love to dig into it! Here's the link:

This year was my first Vegan Thanksgiving(Canadian), I ended up eating mostly salad and some mashed potato's with vegan butter and soy milk. This Christmas I plan on making all my own vegan Vegweb recipes tofurkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie and Eggnog!

I'm hoping to enjoy my favourites (pumpkin pie/stuffing) for the first time as a vegan, and, hopefully tempt my omni family to tasting (and loving) them just as much!

I cant wait!  :)>>>

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

How does one name just favorite dish for Thanksgiving?  I absolutely love the dressing, but I love the yams and sweet potatoes as well, and I really love the garlic mashed potatoes.  Of course I love the pumpkin roll for dessert, and pumpkin pie, and I love the green salads.  Yep, so much that I love!

Gravy

OK, so it's technically not a dish. So I'll say mashed potatoes and gravy. Or stuffing and gravy. Or rolls and gravy. :)

I'm also fond of cranberry-orange relish. I guess that's not a "dish" either.

Yams... with macademia nuts & crushed pineapple & brown sugar.  I'm not sure exactly what it is called... like, sweet potato casserole or something...
