Weekly Giveaway: Blush Brush & Hemp Makeup Bag! VeganRun is the winner!
I don't know about you but my skin is looking pretty palid these days. The dry winter air combined with lack of sun makes me look like an extra in the Thriller video. Solutions? Working out is great for a rosy glow but what about when you don't have time to break a sweat? This is when I turn to my friend, blush. Blush is great because it can be subtle (or not so subtle, Hello Mac Counter!) and gives you a pretty finish that helps you take on the world! Or at least look human.
To win an animal-friendly blush brush and adorable hemp makeup bag from EcoTools, let me know the best way to stay bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on these cold winter days!
Giveaway ends on Tuesday, February 30th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!
Good luck!
My dirty little secret.... Alba sunless tanner.
LOTS of water to stay hydrated from the inside out!
citrus and nuts
crack!
or just a good nights sleep..
move to the southwest!
Lots of organic, brothy soups keep me goin' in the wintertime!
lots of alcohol
oh, and microdermabrasion
I try to stay well hydrated and as always, get a lot of sleep! Working out in the winter is another great way
Sleep and dark chocolate
I get lots of exercise, sunshine and citrus. Easy enough for me--I live in San Diego CA, it's usually sunny here. : )
Getting enough sleep even though it may be easier said then done sometimes.
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. I like to make homemade moisturizing gel with aloe and essential oils to prevent my skin from drying out and losing its healthy glow in winter months..
laughter :)
Well I like the pale look so I'm fine without sun (not so much snow though). So I like to feel warm on the inside with some creamy soups like potato leek or corn chowder with a nice grilled Daiya's Cheese sandwich
blush and lots of it!
its the only way i look healthy in the winter! :)
I'm considering a spray tan.....but sleep definitely helps, and I get plenty of sleep!
I guess I don't?
I just try to capture all of the sun that I can.
Green tea!
I don't worry too much about looking pale; it's the winter dry skin that gets to me. So, a good natural skin cream is the way I go. I like to bundle up and go walking or bird watching, too. It helps beat the winter blues to be outside for a while.
Tinted moisturizers are great to keep the summer glow without the buildup of foundation.
Using organic deep conditioners, such as PhatHead Coconut Deep Conditioner, will keep your hair moisturized in the winter air.
You'd probably be surprised to see the 'winter tan' at full potential. All the bright snow can give you some serious glow! ;D
I live in Mississippi, so a little moisturizer and some herbal teas do just fine.
