By the fresh, organic handful.

Sjaak's should send me a tub just because I've been giving shout-outs to Sjaak's since I lived in Humboldt.  I've got vegans and omnis alike hooked.

I like the ice berries recipe from vegweb!  It is frozen berries with soy millk, and the soy milk crystallizes and makes a yummy coating.

that sounds really good, but I couldn't find the recipe.  help a sister out!

Here!  I had to google "vegweb ice berries."  lol

I love any kind of berries cold, fresh and plaiin.  I even like hairy berries(that's what kiwis were originally called in Australia,we were told by Australians) that way, peeled of course.

i like to eat fresh, raw fruit every morning.  i especially like berries to be really cold and crisp.

my favorite way to eat them?  sharing, of course!  with brittney, with bunnies, and with kitties!

(kitties do NOT get raspberries, but tiger likes strawberries and blueberries... he wants to try raspberries but doesn't because they are poisonous to kitties)

i love to sit in the middle of the livingroom and hand each bunny and tiger a berry while i'm also eating.  they smile super big!

I like to eat my berries when I think my neighbor isn't looking!  ;D

She has a cherry tree, and yummy raspberries that grow through the fence into my yard.

She's been my neighbor for years and I remember the first time she caught me picking her fruits I was just a kid, I looked up and saw her watching me from her window, I quickly darted back in my house and avoided her for a week after.  :-[

This may sound kinda funny, but I put a scoop of raspberry sorbet in a martini glass, then top with a yummy blackberry brandy. top with fresh berries and some mint and enjoy it on a hot summer night!

Blackberry brandy:
4 c Blackberries; cleaned & picked over
2 c Brandy
Grated peel of 1 lemon
2 c Sugar
1 c Water
Juice of 1 lemon

Place the blackberries in a large clean glass jar or crock. Crush slightly to release the juices. Pour the brandy over the berries and add the lemon peel. Seal and allow to steep for 3 months.

When ready to finish the brandy, simmer the sugar, water and lemon juice in a small saucepan until clear. Allow to cool.

Pour the blackberry brandy through a strainer into a large jug and add the sugar syrup to taste. Pour into 1 large or 2 small decanters. Seal and label. (and decorate)

YUMMERS! :)>>>
