Weekly Giveaway: Coconut Oil & Raw Cacao Butter! paisleyvegan is the winner!

Earth Day signals a time to get back to basics and celebrate in what's best for our Earth. Lucky for us, some of the best all natural products are super scrumptious. For those of us raised on the Standard American Diet, it's exciting to find out that a kale salad can be just as tasty as a vegan meatball sub. Sometimes the tastiest foods are the best for us. I know, mother nature works in mysteious ways. For the healthiest (and yummiest!) vegan baked goods, I turn to Artisana 100% Organic Raw Cacao Butter (http://www.premierorganics.org/) and Nutiva Raw Coconut Oil (http://www.nutiva.com/products/10_coconut.php) for help. Healthy baking might sound like an oxymoron but this delicious duo will do the job! I promise, I wouldn't lie to you about baked goods. T

To win both, let me know what your Earth Day plans are!

Giveaway ends on Tuesday, April 27th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!

Good luck!

I'll be wearing my Chip and Dale (Disney Characters) tshirt that says "Be a Conservation Nut". I won't be using my blow dryer and I'll make sure to unplug everything that doesn't need to be plugged in. I have actually went to raw foods for the past 3 weeks and Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter is used in soo many recipes that it would be a super help for me to make yummy uncooked desserts like Coconut Cream Pie, and Raw Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Omg...I want it now!!!! haha

I'm throwing a small vegan party in my class with permission from my teacher. I've got a whole bunch of vegan baked goods and snacks, a bunch of stickers, flyers, booklets, leaflets, posters, and recipes to hand out. As well as vegan food to show how awesome we actually eat. Some music, a movie, petitions, and a small power point with speach and we got it going on! My teacher/school is so cool to let me do this. :) ;D 8-)

Well, all week there have been Earth Day events going on at my campus. Today I watched brownies being baked in a solar over and got to meet a lot of really cool local vendors. I also found out that if I wear green tomorrow than I get to ride the bus for free (I ride it every day so I love this)! I plan on attending more events tomorrow, picking up trash in our campus forest, planting some herbs, baking vegan goodies for people and helping to educate people! Anything else that I can think of I will try to squeeze in tomorrow too!

It's already Earth Day here, but unfortunately we have no special plans.  Gym this morning, work all day.  I do have some fresh pumpkin and zucchini from my grandmother's garden that I'll be cooking up for dinner, I guess that's pretty earth-friendly?
