Weekly Giveaway: two belts from The Vegan Collection! sandybee is the winner!

Dads need belts. They need neckties and belts. Those are just things that dads need. Some more advanced dads might prefer suspenders but the average dad needs a few good belts. I know it's a cliché gift but dads are nothing if not practical. If you're looking for the perfect non-leather belt for dad, you're in luck. The Vegan Collection (http://thevegancollection.com) has provided us with two of the spiffiest belts around, The Sampras in a medium size in black, and The Captain in a small size in brown. That's one belt for you and one for dad. Since these good looking belts are unisex, they're perfect for all! Hey? It's important to treat yourself well too, as that makes you a better kid!

For a chance to win both belts, and let me know what your Father's Day plans are!

Giveaway ends on Tuesday, June 22nd at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!

Good luck!

Last weekend we went to their house and grilled out. We took tofu and did 2 different marinades, Annie BBQ sauce (which my parents already had!!!!!), and an Italian marinade. We grilled those, corn on the cob, mushrooms on skewers, and pineapple. They felt the need to make meat, but they still ate a ton of veggies. We also had peas and broccoli from their garden. Oh, and a big salad from their garden, too. I made cookies from VCTOYCJ, and they LOVED them.

I'm still thinking of what gift I can give him. Maybe cook some more for him. I made cinnamon rolls for my mom for Mother's Day.

My Dad is across the country so I wont get to see him, just a phone call.  The kids and I will be taking care of my husband, yummy food all day, his faves of course, and some games, his pick.

I sadly will be away from my dad on father's day--BUT--the celebration begins early with vegan cookies for him, and when I get back he and I are gonna sit down and watch  submarine movies, his favorites. Hunt for Red October, anyone?

My Dad is in Florida; so I'll call. His birthday is a couple days later, poor guy.

My husband?  Well, we're really broke right now and  not eating out much, so I'll probably splurge a little and take him to his favorite restaurant.

We haven't made our plans yet, but my family usually goes out to lunch for these sort of holidays.
