This week's newsletter is all about summer's favorite treat, Ice Cream! Now that we've tempted you with tales of ice cream, we figured we'd better not leave you out in the cold. We're giving away a copy of The Vegan Scoop, a gorgeous full color cookbook that's filled with more recipes for ice cream (and its accoutrements!) than you can shake a waffle cone at. I haven't had the chance to have vegan ice cream yet but I do love Daiquiri Ice (sorbet). Other wise, I'd love to learn how to make some Mint Chip!!!! :-)

I pretty much love ANYTHING and everything mint flavored! I also have a spot spot for chocolate chip cookie dough!!!!!
With that said - damn, I want to try peanut butter and jelly ice cream! It's my favorite kind of sandwich!

i live in NYC now.. and this place LuLu's in the LES is soooooo good.. their orange creamsicle ice cream is the best thing i have ever eaten ever.. and i made it into a float with vanilla soda.. holy crap it was so good! i also hear that occasionally they make a chocolate stout based ice cream, but it sells out so fast i've never had it.. i reallly wanna try it!
i'm from LA and there is a place called Scoops there that has a few vegan ic e creams available and the 2 best flavors from that place are the balsamic strawberry (weird sounding, but so good!).. and the almond cofee.. omg i want some icecream now! :D :D

I just made a nice chocolate, cherry, coconut cream ice cream a couple of days ago (with toasted almonds and chocolate chips!) but my favourite is chocolate/pecan/caramel. *drool*
... And there goes the diet for the rest of the day. *sigh*
