Jay Leno was the host of The Tonight Show. He left to host a prime-time interview show. Conan O'Brien (Coco) moved from hosting Late Night with Conan O'Brien to hosting The Tonight Show. Jay's new show tanked and NBC execs decided to move him back to The Tonight Show, thereby ousting Conan.
I'm camp coco, too.

Ohhhhh, ok. I know about JL and COB. But the only "Coco" I knew about was Chanel. Sorry, I'm back in the 21st century, now. Much against my will... ;)

I like Conan more than Leno, but as a long time Conan viewer I think this is good for him. Simply put his act has become tired, he doesn't the same dances, funny voices and audience banter over and over again. It comes off as very stale. He's a funny guy and he should take this opportunity to push himself to the next level.

This. Both Conan and Leno need to do something new. Leno has become a caricature of himself. And lately it was like he was scoring points off the guests, not interviewing them. I saw Conan recently and he wasn't really listening to the guest at all, just talking about himself.
